1.
my little cousin is just starting freshman football in dayton and from what i watched at practice the supposedly good coaching and program doesnt show there to me?? maybe that emphasize more on the soph, juniors, seniors?? i have been to a couple of the practice before i left. to me the programs are as equally as good. bh just needs a little more size in the front and a little more height in the secondary. Our secondary is good but it could be better. Dayton lost some key players but from living around that area i know for a fact that there is talent there to fill it that might just need to be trained. Good post man, you are right, I think even very well disciplined teams can get a little heated sometimes. I also think that getting a litlle heated, shows that you play with great intensity, I like that. There is a line that has to be drawn and it should stay on the field and kept under control. Sometimes it can turn the momentum in a game, so both teams should be careful. I look for a good clean game, unless the broncos dominate again. If that's the case, and I think it will be, the eagles will not be too happy to their butts handed to them on that pretty new turf. I think it could be a real close game is bh gets the offense straightened out and stops the fumbling and if the d steps up big and hold strong. If bh doesnt do this it can get ugly real quick. Dont be fooled though bh doesnt have the talent to give dayton an upset. I am gonna be coming back from San Marcos just to watch this because i think it is gonna be a good smash mouth football game. And yes i do think there will be some heated argument on the field FROM BOTH SIDES. I was on the bh team last year (hurt during the bh dayton game so i didnt play in that demolishing game few.....) and know for a fact are guys can get heated but i also grew up with the dayton guys and know that they can get heated extremely quick as well
2. Even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then. Nobody says Dayton can't be beat by the teams in this district, it's just highly unlikely. If Dayton plays Crosby 10 times and Crosby wins one game, does that make them a better team? No, that year they were breaking out roundballs while we were still playing football. I'm glad to see the hill winning some games and playing defense so well, but the fact is, Dayton is a much better team and a much better program. In another district, the hill could be for real, but unfortunately, the big D rules this one.
 3. It's so funny to see this stuff on here, I enjoy reading most of this useless chatter because it's good entertainment. The fact is, talking smack with BH fans and Crosby fans is really kinda useless. Dayton is on a different level than anyone in this district, you guys are just going to have to except that. It's not your fault , well I guess you could move, but we would rather you not. Look at the bright side, at least it should be a good race for second place.
 4.
Dayton 32 Eisenhower 17 I believe Dayton will be tested more than think in their district this year. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
By who? I hope you are not going to say BH. If you base your opinion on these nondistict games, you have to consider the competition each team has played. If it was all about just starting 3-0, then Dayton would schedule some weaker teams too, but that's just not the case.
 5. Call me crazy, but I think Angelton is a better team than both Elkins and Ike. Think the Broncos win this game and are not even tested again until playoff time. Unfortionantly no one in our district will realistically challenge the Broncos. 33- 28 broncos is my prediction.

Great game-Congrads to BH and to BH 89 who got married game day and went on honeymoon to a fb game ;D
Honey moon on the hill.........I wonder how they celebrated the BH win....... ;) ;) P.S. He better keep that woman!!! I'm sure he will keep her, heck even if they get divorced, she will always be his sister.lol Laying all jokes aside, congrats to BH and hope the injured players are all ok.
7. Great football game between two teams that will be playing football when most schools are breaking out the round balls. When you match two teams of this caliber up this early in the season, it only helps both teams. Congrats to the Wildcats on a great game and good luck the rest of the year. As for the Broncos, when I sit and watch our team scratch and claw and give everything they have out on that field, its only makes me that much more proud to be a bronco fan.
 8. Bhfan and the word scientific shouldn't even be in the same sentence. Lol I will take the Broncos in this game even without our top two running backs. Oh, and from what I saw on Friday night at the Ant Mound, BH better enjoy these next couple of weeks cause when the Broncos come to the mound it's gonna be ugly for the folks sporting blue and white.
 9. That's what I was thinking.
Dang! I shoulda drove to Crosby instead of the Hill!

7-0 at the half, I thought the Raiders spiked the ball with 0.6 seconds on the clock but the ref ref disagrees.
They did spike it in time to stop the clock but it was third down and they spiked fourth down, so it would've been turn over on downs regardless. You are correct, I had a brain fart. Lol field  looks great Eagles get the ball back for the second half. Looks like its going to be a smash mouth game. Both sides are playing well. If we can't throw the ball any better than this its going to be tough to keep 8 and 9 guys out of the box against the run.
11. 7-0 at the half, I thought the Raiders spiked the ball with 0.6 seconds on the clock but the ref ref disagrees.
 12. BH offense is watching paint dry, maybe they will open up the play book as the game goes on. Lumberton looks like they can be fairly balanced on offense, they are starting to move the ball a little now.
 13. End of first quarter, no score. Yep, I came to the ant hill. Lol
 14. Big Stew's presence is always around, it's branded into this coaching staff. Stewart is genius not only because he won football games, but because he built a program and a coaching staff that he trusts won't miss a beat when he is gone. The team as a whole had a great second half, but the defense really impressed me. Fowler and the rest of the d-backs were awesome, but the d-line had a lot to do with that.

Lawd, please don't send us those same out of shape ref's w/a called meeting after every yellow flag thrown.Just in case we're not so lucky do ya'll allow tent camping? That was a long boring game to watch ::) :D ::)
Heck no, we did better than that.  Just for this game BH had a bridge installed on the visitor side so the "economically disatvantaged" can hang out under it during the game.  I hear Matress Mack is going to donate card board boxes for those wishing to enjoy the low crime rates for a few days.  ;D ;D Shuttle buses will be available from Dayton, Cleveland, WOS, and Brenham.  ;D ;D  I know, but got to invite the ice cream folks.  They are all still sitting in Kingwood Park's parking lot crying.  Feel sorry for them.  ;D You would think with such high IQ's over on the hill, they would at least use spell check. (mattress)lol I know it's not a spelling bee, but if you are going to tell us how smart y'all are, at least spell your words correctly. Oh yeah, isn't Old River Winfree in BHISD? I thought so, that means not all of y'all are so smart. Lol  Looking forward to another great year for the Broncos and the annual butt whipping we so gladly give the little stinky hill just to the south of us.
