Huntsville won last year’s nail biter matchup but they will have to stop the big plays from the King running attack if they want to repeat. Huntsville’s RB is out and they had a coach pass from Covid this week. Not sure what to expect, but I’ll say King 28-14.

I think it’s too early to say. Consol is always solid. They have played two bad opponents and then a good win against Judson. Not sure if Judson is really good though. After the Oct 1 game against Huntsville, we’ll know more. District 10 is tough, and there could be some surprises. Huntsville’s starting RB missed the game against Kingwood due to injury. The Hornet offense looked a little lost. The defense has been pretty good, but no Bombino’s this year. At this point, I don’t think they beat C.E. King this week. i agree that FB Marshall is not as dominant, but they certainly are still in the running. Crosby and Texas High are still in the conversation as well.

I’ll take Coldspring by 2 TD’s.

Ok, well I don’t think it was changed recently. My schedule is a month old and it shows Thursday.

I think it’s been scheduled for Thursday all along. There are two Montgomery schools that share the field. I don’t know a lot about United, but I’ll take the Montgomery Bears in this one. Two backs combined for 350 yards rushing against Dayton (Yes, I know). QB is very experienced and the Bears offense should put up some points.

Trinity ISD has closed all of their schools until Sept 13. Next 2 Friday night games against Groveton and Tarkington are cancelled. Groveton has Covid too.

Yes, and fellow district foe Huffman won it 2019. That district has been tough for the last 4 years.

It’s hard to believe this is their first State title. I’d love to know their record over the last 10 years. Can’t be anyone better.
