It is interesting that Magnolia has been very competitive and has yet to be blown out in any game.  Unfortunately, they will likely finish 0-8 in District.    I'll say Brenham sleep walks to a 31-13 victory.

[/quote]Ok.  Well Willis lost to Mag West by 11 and beat Waller by 1, so Willis is sitting at -10.  So they would lose any 3 way tie.  So, I guess Waller would have to defeat Mag West by at least 6 to catch Mag West.  I don't know.  All these districts seem to break ties in different ways, so who knows.    

Hey, Brenham Fan, now that your Cubs have shut down both Willis and Rudder, do you have a prediction for that game this weekend?  Also, if Mag West, Waller, and Willis all finish 4-4 in the District, and they are all 1-1 against each other, what is the tiebreaker?  Is it some kind of point spread deal or something?  I'm still thinking the Mag West-Waller winner would advance with the 4th spot.

And those two teams play on the last game to likely decide that spot.

Well I was wondering.  I was expecting a Corrigan victory and I thought they were terrible.  Looks like New Waverly wins the District, but they really aren't that good either. 

And they probably will in Softball too.

Correct.  Huntsville wins 35-31.  Mag West had a big play to get it to the 22 yd line with 1 second left.  Had one shot at the end zone and the pass was incomplete.

It doesn't appear that either team has played a difficult schedule.  And how did Alto lose by 20 to Groveton?  I'll lean with W Sabine in this one.

NF will be the only school to win every game by at least 40 points.  The  District is beyond weak and unfortunately will not prepare NF for the playoffs.  I don't see them going very far.

Rudder can score but they don't have much for defense.  Brenham should easily be able to put up 40 points in this one.

Pretty neat.  2 of the 5 playoff eliminated 4A teams in the State of Texas are in 19-4A.  I'll have to check this site each week for the updates when they become a little more meaningful.
