Vidor — Also a lot back from an experienced team, could have the most back in 20-4A. 3. BC — Could be OF but need to see OF win against Hicks before you bump them up here. 4. OF  — Very, very, very talented team. 8 of 9 starters back and added Corey Huckabay to replace Peevey. Could this be the year? 5. PN-G — A lot of talent returns to the tribe. Coach Stone will have them pushing for district title.

Hanging in there with all the boys basketball buffs. I'll be happy with a top 5 finish

If he did not show class, Coach Knight of BC would not have talked to him for 5 minutes after the game. And there was no bad mouthing either, I was standing right there.

I attended and covered the game, Sutherland never once did anything to run up the score. The fact I found great about him is he never once stopped coaching. He coached his players with a 25 lead like it was a 3 point lead. Not to embarrass BC but to teach his kids. It was a well played game.

That's an easy cop out in my book. Why doesn't PNG play Memorial for instance? Nederland vs. PAM. WO-S vs. PNG. WOS vs. Vidor. Kirbyville vs either Mid-County school. There are a ton of examples what could be played in our area. Coaches are going to get scouting reports on every game and even video.

Teams in this area not playing other teams in this area in non-district first. The local teams vs. local teams keeps the $$ in our area, keeps the drives shorter for fans, lets the players get back early and the list goes on and on. There are plenty of examples of this going on these days and it is getting pretty old.
