  1. Yay for Sara!
  2. About time they realize conference play has started
  3. While it looks bad on the surface, you never know what could have happened to the other ref. There could have been a family emergency or any number of things.
  4. When is last time Central boys beat Ozen?
  5. Final, awaiting to hear from Nederland
  6. I think of dirty uniforms. The way he played the game first. With Bagwell, I think of .124 batting average in playoffs (or at least close to the number)
  7. My gut tells me I'm glad my Indians got Faircloth before this job became open.
  8. Who in their right mind would ever say Texas right now? I still think UNC is the most talented and best team. They will be the ones to beat in March. Oh and OU doesn't seem to be too bad either :
  9. It is hard to remember this is the same team that beat UCLA, beat Nova, lost to Michigan St. by only 4 at MSU and beat Wisconsin on the road (which is very hard to do). Boy does that seem like forever ago. I miss DJ Augustine :'(
  10. I just felt like posting here to see how long it takes Aggies to tell me to leave the boy's forum... Hey Aggies, do you think I can make an EDUCATED predition?
  11. Do you now look at A-Rod differently from Bonds and Clemens since he admitted it and they continue to deny it? I personally do. It takes a big man to step up and admit a mistake. Does this also make easier to believe Bonds and/or Clemens used steroids?
  12. He will look like death.
  13. Astros won't do it. It makes too much sense.
  14. I don't think it was bashing but you have the power to decide if it was. You are correct I do. Calling a coach out by name and accusing them of their negatives is bashing. Thanks.
  15. Cool Hand Luke's post has been deleted. Please do not bash a coach in such a way.
  16. I am proud of A-Rod for admitting the use. If only Clemens and Bonds would have done the same they would not have the problems they have to do.
  17. Once again I get to agree and disagree. Parents must do there job and kids should not look up so highly to profesional athletes,,, but they do. Watching the little legue world series on ESPN 70% of the kids had AROD as their favorite player. LOL. One day I'm going to get you to totally agree with me on something. I am making it my life's mission!
  18. In my eyes I like what Sir Charles said, kids should not always look up to pro athletes. They are human too. If parents are worried about role models then it all starts and ends with parents being the ones their kids look up to, not someone you only see on TV.
  19. Paul Pierce is funny looking to me.
  20. Never had a losing season!
  21. 1. Circle can attest to this, I was not good at baseball a single bit. I really did not even enjoy playing the game yet I love the game of baseball and it is by far my favorite sport. 2. I have seen every NL team in Houston, some more than once. 3. My parents became friends with Denny Walling of the Astros when we lived in Bay City. We used to talk to him for a while after home games. 4. I have a scrapbook I put together when I was 6 years old of the 1986 Astros. 5. I'm an Astros fan by birth but somehow along the line grew to love the Yankees at an early age. I don't know why but something drew me to them when I was about 5 or 6.
  22. I'm not arguing for or against my list, all I am going to say is Barry, Statum and Felts are three of the most versatile players in Southeast Texas. Hester is too though. This is what is great about sports, it all is a matter of opinion and usually most people go with the players they know the most about.
  23. exactly and to say already he does not belong in the Hall of Fame is a joke. Steroids can't help you hit a curveball. We would have never known this if someone had not spoke about documents which are sealed by a judge. To me that is the bigger story here. For someone to do that is breaking the law. A-Rod taking steroids is just one in a number of stories.
  24. They do have the talent for it. I met Matt Menard the other day at track practice, he is huge for a freshman!
