  1. That confusing since you include teams that are farther out of the SETX area than Tenaha, and they're not playing a team in the SETX area. Just Saying.
  2. What, no Tenaha, the best 2A D1 and D2 team in the state and has beaten teams listed????!
  3. Tenaha v Colmesneil, Thursday, 7:00 pm in Shelbyville. Most of the Tenaha seniors were sophomore starters on a Tiger team that crushed Colmesneil 63-14 in a bi-district match-up in 2015. They are now bigger, stronger and faster and the No 1 ranked 2A team in the state. The 10-0 Tigers are averaging over 50 pts/G while giving up less that 6 pts/G. Many of their games had a running clock in the 2nd half. You can draw you're on conclusion as to the outcome.
  4. I saw Tenaha dismantle a very good Timpson team last week. The Bears are very physical with lots of speed. The Bears will take this one handily.
  5. Tigers win 9th straight district and haven't lost a district game in that period. Timpson forced the Tigers to punt twice which is an accomplishment! That's 6 on the year.
  6. TIGER 49 - GRAPELAND 0 RUSHING CAR 42 YDS 471 (O.THOMPSON - 21 CARRIES 378 YDS - School Record) AVG 11.2 LNG 55 TD 6 PASSING COMP 8 ATT 10 YDS 120 C % .800 AVG 15.0 TD 1 INT 0 LG 38 QB/R 152.1 TOTAL OFFENSE 591
  7. Tigers 66 - KIPP 6 Final Running clock in the 2nd half. Tiger defense had 4 pick 6's, a school record I'm sure. Physically KIPP was larger than Tenaha, but they were no match for the Tiger's team speed and aggressiveness. It got ugly in a hurry, 26-0 in the 1st qtr.
  8. Mount Enterprise will not play Tenaha this week, they'll forfeit and try to continue their season afterwards. Meanwhile, Tenaha head coach Craig Horn scheduled Houston KIPP Northeast for Saturday, 6:00pm. KIPP Northeast High School is a college preparatory charter school, located in Houston, with an enrollment of approximately 397 students. The demographics are 68% black, 23% Hispanic and 9% other. The Gators are a member of the Texas Christian Athletic League, division 3A and are ranked in the Top Ten at #4. The 1 & 2 Gators aren't afraid to play outside their TCAL ranks, they played perennial 4A-DII powerhouse West Orange Stark and took a 66-6 shellacking. This could be a very interesting match-up for the Tigers.
  9. Could've been LOTS worse, running clock in 2nd half, emptied the bench early.

  11. The Rams have a really good team, lots of speed on both sides of the ball. They'll make some noise in D1!
  12. Tigers hitting on all cylinders. GCA probably had negative yardage, never got past the 50, only 2 or 3 1st downs. Tigers had a couple of long TDs called back, emptied the bench in the 2nd half.
  13. 63 - 0 at half, running clock in 2nd half. Could've been 150 if Tenaha had wanted.
  14. Let'em go, you can't let kids or their parents run the program!!
  15. Freshman JV players for Tenaha in 2nd half. SP had problems containing 115 & 130 lb running backs. These guys practice all year and want to play to. I wouldn't have any respect for a coach who told them not to try. SP coach.refuse running clock twice. The blame can be laid at his feet
  16. Let the celebration begin, think I'll have a diet Dr Pepper! Congratulation to your home boys on a job well done
  17. Tigers had 3 pick 6's 6 Shutouts thru 8 games 24 point allowed, 18 by defense
