1. no update in 20-4a????
 2. you double header fans sure had yourselves a long day huh?
 3.
Update please. I am watching college football on tv.
ditto whats going on now?
 4.

Robanadana said listen for the whisling LePrays,I'll be there of course w/o the big head.Gotta see both & see some great bands as well as football.See ya there ;)
We always sit in front of them also.  Even at home games our seats are by them.  Look for the big black pirate flag they wave too. haha!  Just wait until they bust out singing!!!  :)
yep I recorded their "Because we love you" song and it is now my ring tone!
 5. Also this is my favorite stadium in the district. Even better than Ivan Croak Field. Wish ALL our games were there, the stands in Vidor were designed to seat people of 150# and under 5'6". We definitely need a remodel with some more seating width and walk room down aisles.
 6. Your welcome on the Vidor side. Anywhere but in front of me. I don't need a big purple horse head blocking my view!!!

 8. I too saw some posts that were placed without a mature thought before hitting enter. Most of the posters can't remember the dark days in pirate stadium, when were barely a 5a team getting trounced. Not one of those posters (that I saw) were current or former players. It's hard for some of these vicarious pirates to understand that there is a responsibility that comes with being a "real champion". The boys that suited up last night are taught more respect than what you witnessed. God Bless your raiders, they fought hard all night, 4 quarters long. And that is NOTHING to be ashamed of!!!
 9. I am pulling for central's playoff position, to help our boys go D2, however I don't see the jags with a honest chance in this one. I'll take Vidor... by 17 points

 11.
Probably a long night for Lumberton. Give those kids credit for showing up every week.
ditto... there is more to learn, than just how to win. Those boys shouldn't be ashamed as long as they give it their all.

Sorry LR, maybe next year. 0-2 wont cut it as of now.
Lets not get carried away....  Still a ways to go, and only one spot open.
1? i say 2. NED and Vidor are the only certain spots.
Ozen will be in.  Plus, they own the tie breaker after beating Central.  LCM or Livingston will likely take the 4th spot.
1NEDERLAND 2VIDOR 3OZEN 4HOPING FOR CENTRAL, PROBABLY LIVINGSTON Central puts my boys in D2 a easier path in my opinion.
 13. uh 28-21. is it too late to put in my prediction?
 14.
I question Ozen  defense, that  supposed to be so good
May not be good by your standards but they dang sure get on that ball quick and often. This Ozen team looks better than last years, I pitty the next group they face after a tough loss like this, they will have something to prove for sure.
 15. As for my thoughts about the fans. I was proud to see Vidor bring so many people to an away game. However I do believe too many are fair weather friends. Like last week all packed up and heading out and they are surprised that we onside kick, drive for first downs and make a white knuckle, toe curler out of the game. Then this week, I see grown men screaming at the boys after lets face intirely too many fumbles. These jerks can stay home. These are KIDS out on that field giving 112%. Kids make mistakes, and if we back 'em every play regardless they can feel it. And that it something they can use to keep the wind in the sails, and a 4quarter effort is something to be proud of win or lose!
 16.
Another heartbreaking loss to the Pirates.  Ozen needs to figure out how to hold the lead, and pull out the close ones.  This game would have pretty much sealed a playoff spot up.
I don't think Ozen will have any trouble making the playoffs

 18.
Just a question to be pondered. If the Livingston offense is so bad then how did they score 42 last week? Just curious, maybe somebody in the know can shed some light on the subject.
I made the statement about a shutout. I am not saying Livingston is "bad". They are my pick for 5th spot in 20-4a. They have talent and speed, however the Dline alone from Ned has talent and speed. Wash will run your carrier down the l.o.s. either into his wingspan or out of bounds. Ned has stood the test from 4 opponents now and I expect them to win 9 or 10 more games straight before getting another opponent that can hand them an "L"

I didnt say anything about Silsbee. I said Lion's backfield was sloppy, those fakes arent fooling anybody. Ned Dline is gonna see it coming and eat em up.
Plus the fact that Ned just got through facing a team running the exact same offense so they will be even more prepared for it.
I know little to nothing about different Offenses, however Livingston O looked nothing like Vidor's.
Livingston runs the slot t offense. Same as Vidor's. Did it last year and they are doing it this year. That's why they ran for 364 yards friday against lcm.
There was not half the backfield movement as I see in Vidor's. Im saying they didnt look similar in the least bit. They had fast kids, and some fakes, but never did I have trouble tracking the ball. I went to watch some ball and wasn't impressed, nothing bad to say, just wasn't impressed. It didn't look like Vidor, sorry dude.
May not look the same but it is the same offense man. You gotta realize there are several different plays and formations and motions and positioning and so on and so forth that you can do with this offense. I'm not saying that they run the exact same plays as us and run the same motions but they do run the same offense.
You are absolutely right! I will quit arguing with you! I see its a never ending sport...

 23. 35-0 Nederland Ive seen Lions @ silsbee. Sloppy backfield. Only way Lions score is if the Ned Dline wants them too.
 24. Cold cut crow sandwhich please! Nothing spicy after seating thru the muggy weather. That front 5 looked like six and a half, I'll be pulling for Nederland,,,, until we meet again.
