You are so right, Chad, it will get ugly. I know of no local school district that requires a student to pass TAKS to participate in extra-curricular activities. My wife is a school teacher of twenty years and she does not know of any local school that does that.

I will do an area pickems starting this Tuesday night and for the remainder of the district play using only these districts: 20-4A, 21-3A, and 23-2A That's 10 games to pick and I will use HoopInsider's point spreads with these picks. So when you make a pick, you have to take in consideration of the point spread. Example: Ozen is favored by 21 points over PNG, so if you pick Ozen, they will have to win by more than 21 points. All pushes(ties) will result as an incorrect pick. Just so you know, if it wasn't for Ashton Hall in the first half, Lamar would have never been in this game. He scores 14 of their first 24 points. He did do a no show in the second half, but still led them in scoring.

Lazeek, i dont know how you can say that. I know we all have our biases on this board but i find it hard to believe that you or anyone can say its not even close. An UNBIASED observer, Hoopinsider Cooper, ranked Hayes ahead of Benard. So apparently, he thinks Hayes is either better or close to better for a reason. He is being polite!!!!! Hates is no where near the player that Benard or Robinson are. I guess that playing against each other on Tuesday and we will see. I have seen Hayes play and he is a great player, but he is not a game changer as Benard is. He's being polite?? ??? Not Chad. ;D
