She told me last night that she was going to bring her Girl Scout troop to the Depot Monday night.

Wrong. In '07 and '08 HJ was better on paper and in '06, Kountze was better on paper. ;)
BS!  The same conversations were going on then that are going now.  Silsbee has had overall superior talent EVERY year!
Wrong. In '07 and '08, Silsbee had better athletes, but HJ had better basketball players. Kountze had the better team in '06.
This amounts to a 1 and done for the Bucs.
1 and done means you lose the first game. EC will beat Miburn handily.

Wrong. In '07 and '08 HJ was better on paper and in '06, Kountze was better on paper. ;)

A hater? That's funny. ::) Just trying to be informative here. Some folks did not realize the fact of the co-championship. It was eveident last night when folks came to broadcast table last night asking those kind of questions. Officially, it's a co-championship, but in the minds of all, we know who the top team in the district is. ;)
EC isn't anywhere near the club they have been in recent years.They will win a early playoff game if they get one of the prep schools but I don't see them going going very deep this season.
EC plays Houston Richard Milburn Academy in the first round. They will then face #1 ranked New Waverly in the second round. If they were to manage to upset NW, they would then face #4 Kountze in the 3rd round. Other than that first round game, it will be a tough row to hoe for the Bucs.

:) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :'(
I'd say Silsbee is clearly best
;D ;) :D :) 8)

Keep in mind, this was not an out right district title. Nederland and Ozen are Co-Champs.
