The 71st meeting between the Jasper Bulldogs and the Silsbee Tigers will take place tonight at Tiger Stadium. That is ashame about Orangefield and Hamshire-Fannett because that's who Silsbee plays on the 24th and 31st. Silsbee plays host to Orangefield for the Tiger's Homecoming on the 24th and then travel the next week to HF on the 31st. I am hearing that HF lost their pressbox and will not have it back before the end of the season so that may not work out for you there. The Orangefield-Silsbee game would be nice because of it being homecoming but if the Orangefield fans cannot watch it, then it maybe better to do someone else that night. I'll still make some calls and see if Silsbee is interested.

Me being an Aggie, I just can't bring myself to say, that a team that beat us 77-0 not too long ago, "sucks". :-[ Sad thing is, we might see that embarrassing moment again this year. :'(

Only thing is, the pressbox at Dan R. Hooks isn't the most friendliest. By that I mean there is not much room up there. We are going to be broadcasting the game and I fully expect Stelly to do that one also. It will be a very tight fit up there with just us doing it.

I have to agree(man that was hard for me to say) but the WAC is not a good fit for Lamar. C-USA or Sunbelt would be better.

Uh, cwade, I think you need to check the date of this thread. Might help you understand a little better. DJ did play for Nederland last year, which is what this thread is talking about, last year's game. There is a thread for this year's game, check that one out.

It's funny that you use the anology that Vidor hasn't played anybody, yet who has Lumberton played that's a world beater? I'll put Central up against any of the teams that Lumberton has played so far. The fact is, both teams played a somewhat weak non district schedule, both teams came out of it 2-0. Now district has started and though Lumberton maybe 1-0 and Vidor 0-1, it will be pretty obvious when the season ends that Central will be by far the better team over Livingston. In fact, I still stand by my prediction that the Jaguars will win district. I think Lumberton will win this game, but they are not head and shoulders better than Vidor. This one will be close.

You can watch the Bmt. Kelly-Silsbee game tonight on Time Warner Ch. 18 at 7pm. Also both halftime performances will be shown.
