Totally agree about Patrick Reed. His last game was the loss to Yates in playoffs. Yates had 4 players '6"6 or better that played that night. Patrick at '6"2 , finished with 25 points and 23 rebounds. People say the Silsbee has never really had a post player since the 2010 season (Tigers had two players at '6"6 and '6"7 along with DC Stallworth at '6"5). But players like Reed and Kalon Barnes have provided that inside presence without being the prototypical post.

and Jordan Holmes.

In fact, all 4 finalists on offense and defense is who I voted for. Now, who to choose from those 4?

I'll take Barlow.

Coach can only nominate 1 player on offense and 1 player on defense. If you are talking about a Newton player, well both made the finalists.

bump

Coaches nominate an offensive and defensive player from their team. WRS voters (mainly local media) vote 4 offensive and 4 defensive players from that list to get the top 4 finalists. From those four finalists, the voters will pick the WRS award winner for offense and defense. FYI, I am one of the voters.
