  1. Nederland beat Klein Collins in the championship 11-3.  Madyson Guidry pitched for Nederland.  They went 5-0 (pitchers Madyson Guidry against Splendora, Dayton & Klein Collins, Tori Cooper against Caney Creek & Jessica Saenz against South Houston) and outscored opponents 45-7 on 37 hits.  Four home runs - (1) 2 run shot from Kelsey Beard (senior), (1) 2 run shot from Bailey Beard (freshman), (1) grand slam from Hannah Smith (freshman) and (1) 3 run home run by Madelyn Daniels (freshman).  Combined pitching ERA was .67 with only 2 ER.  Everyone produced at the plate and defense looked great.

    Good JOB Ladies       :P

  2. GT Shockers 14U looking for bracket pitcher

We have a solid core group of girls and are looking to enhance their line-up with a strong pitcher. We are also a part of a large organization including two separate Gold teams. We have a full time recruiter on staff with a 100% signing rate for all of our players that have made it through our Gold program.

Also, we have Ashley Leon and some of her D1 McNeese teammates that are going to work, develop and coach our 14U girls on and off the field. Ashley worked her way through the Shocker Organization and her hard work and drive paid off with McNeese offering her a scholarship. Ashley knows what it takes to play for our Shocker Gold team as well as what it takes to play at a D1 college level. She and her teammates Emily Vincent, Taylor Goree, and Lauren Langner want to share that work ethic and knowledge with our 14U girls.

    Taylor    middle infield
    Emily      pitcher
    Lauren  outfield

As previously stated by Bryan Sartin (President of our organization), if you are someone that believes the team comes first before any one individual, and good old fashioned hard work and tough love is what you crave, you should consider giving us a look. We focus on positive encouragement but, we do not sugar coat anything. We believe that very constructive, respectful, brutal honesty is always the best approach with everything we do.

  6. I was very impressed with each and every girl this weekend. We played hard and battled back down 3 and 4 runs for wins. Never once did we hold our heads down, we just stepped it up another notch. Our defense was awesome and our bats are improving everytime we play. Great start to the spring season and keep up the good work. I'm very proud of these girls.
    Go Shockers 99  :) ;D
