1. Jasper is going to surprise a lot of people this year....I would even say they have a very good shot at winning district. K-ville will be down this year, and I think the Dogs will take them.
 2. 12-2 Hudson. They had 15 hits in 6 innings tonight. Hudson played very well.
 3.
Jasper is doing great even without their key player the right feilder Timothy David I heard he was out because of tourn tendons in his arm I would be extremely upset if he doesn't start tonight
Hmmm. Let me guess. Timothy David himself. Or Timoth David's parent/family member. haha
 4.
We can set and ask why coaches make the decisions they do...but I know all the Coaches in Jasper and I promise you they did what they thought was best for the team! I also know they are going to put the best 9 on the field for that particular game. When a team loses people are always quick to say what a coach should've done but if Jasper would've came out on top against Hudson ...The talk would be what a great job Mixon did by pulling in these guys that don't pitch much. People need to grow up and quit saying what the coach did wrong.....especially when he will be your sons coach in a couple of years! To all you "Jasper Baseball Players" that read this website: Keep your heads up you are doing Great!!
I'm not sure anyone was blaming the coach. I interpreted it as people just asking why Burleson (Jasper's ace) didn't pitch against, what seems to be, the best team in the district. But I agree with you that Jasper has great coaches and they will be ready for Hudson next time they meet.
 5.
wheres the nut that said EVADALE  was from a week district now you just lost your accountability. ha ha
Accountability or accredibility? ;D haha
 6. I'm here, and they did not start the clock in time. But congrats rebels!
 7. Absolutley no way possible he got that shot off. 2.4 seconds they Inbounded, kid catches at half court looks around, kicks it to a guy in the corner e squares up then shoots it. They had to have started the clock late
 8.
height,height,height.... no substitute for it . rebs will win it all
Not saying they can't....but did you see teneha play the game before?
 9. Whoever advances, faces a very very athletic teneha team. Evadale up by 2 at the half.
 10. A guy that is probably in the lower half of the top 25 would be Keynon Myers #13 from Jasper. Don't have exact stats, but he had at least 20 points a game, and at least 12 rebounds a game. Kid is like 5'8 and dunks it with ease, freaky athletic.
 11.

Poor K-ville is really done now. The end has come.
For a baseball fan and a guy who really likes pirates  ::) you sure have really been interested in Alvarez the last couple of weeks. .... weak sauce Good Luck Coach Alvarez and Congratulations
hmmmm. If anything, I would think this kind of compliments Alvarez. It's basically saying without him, they are really done now. Right? I'm just calling it like I see it fellas, I saw the underclassmen from K-ville play, and I wasn't impressed. And please don't give me the excuse of "all of our young talent was on varisty" because guess what....Jasper's was also. And to address you, Kville_Kats....Actually I think you guys beat us like 68 to 6 or something this year, and no I haven't gotten over that, but I think the next couple of years will make up for it.  ;D
 12.
i heard mike leech will be the oc and and his screen name on here is pirateguy
Ahem, my name is Mike LEACH, sir.
 13. The talent is gone and he knows it. They'll have a decent year this year, then it's really going to go downhill after that class graduates.
 14. It will be a unanimous decision to approve the hire. Why wouldn't it be?
 15. I don't see how Jasper could have done this any better, and a circus? really? I mean if the offer was made to Bowman, I'm sure the Jasper Administration was led to believe that he (Bowman) really wanted the job and would accept the offer. If anyone here is to blame for the "Circus" it is Bowman, for leading Jasper on, and then making the private offer, public. Who can blame Jasper for trying to offer the job to a guy who has won three state championships? As for the "Frontrunner E-mail", IF it was sent (I have serious doubts about that) then I feel bad for the guy, but I can't blame Jasper for trying to get the most successful man for the job.
 16.

Let me start by saying I have nothing against Coach Morgan - Might be the nicest guy in the world.  Jasper has turned this process into a 3 ring circus again.  The powers at be told others they were the frontrunner and led them to believe the job would be offered to them and then went another direction twice.  People on the committee even went as far as to tell other people outside the district that other people were getting the job and I am not making this stuff up. I have lost respect for the Jasper powers at be - The people in charge of this from the get go used people to get what they wanted.  Chris Coleman has always had my utmost respect, but this was handled wrong and he knows it.
Sounds like someone is mad because they didn't get the gig...
My thoughts exactly.
 17.
IMO Jasper better hope he stays awhile because their handling of the hiring of now the last three coaches has damaged their credibility. The act of passing up quality applicants from this area to go after pie in the sky will, I think, hurt their chances of getting quality applicants from this area for any type job hire in the future. Wanting to appear smart and being smart are two different things. Good luck to Coach Morgan and the dogs. 8)
Sore. One of your friends from the area must have not gotten the job.
 18.

Ok now I see the picture with you… you are a former baseball player for jasper and think coach Alverez in not right for the job because he, in your mind, only thinks about football…
Haha, nah man, do you expect a guy who likes pirates and pirate movies to be a former athlete? I didn't play. I'm just going by what I personally have seen (which is not much I must admit) in other kville sports. And it was surely suprising to see where their basketball team is just getting blown away, I would have guessed with the athletes they have there, they could at least be competitve. And last year I was in town for the Kville baseball scrimmage against Jasper and it wasn't very competitve. But I guess as some of you have said, this could be from just lack of participation, and not lack of effort from Alvarez.
