The last two years the 8th grade team went .500 It is tough making those freshmen play varsity. Speed is way different, but it will get them ready faster.

Kountze literally has zero returners this year. There were two, but they have not been able to play so far. Every player on varsity was either on JV last year OR in Middle School. Coach Joubert is getting them better each day and getting them ready to compete for a playoff spot and for the future because this is a very young team.

Yes. Miller and Harris are in 7th. That whole group is crazy good. Jones is in 8th and will be a stud by his JR year!

Hefner has the most potential in SETX. I can't say he is the best because of the Silsbee kids... But next level wise, he has all the intangibles to be a BIG TIME college player. Crazy to think he still has another year!! Great young man and great family also

Should be a Great game! Great way to start district. I think Nederland pulls out a close one because of the Hefner scoring machine. Vidor is tough this year though, so look out for the upset alert!!

BH has the type of team that could slip up and beat PA. I don't think it's going to happen, but it would not surprise me if it did.
