I think Coldsprings Gilbert is the only kid that can run with these guys.. And last but not least the best player on west oranges team was deemed ineligible before the season even started and that had alot to do with there early losses he was a special player.. But my predication is WO-S 17- Coldsprings 10 [/quote Getting deep in here! I just have to laugh out loud when I here people talk about thier team having multiple kids running 4.4s and lower at the high school level. It's kinda like when you hear a kid throws 90 mph in baseball then you show up and they are topping out at 85. For some reason people feel the need to boost thier players abilities. Really 9 kids that run 4.4s idt there is a team in the nfl or college that has 9 guys that run 4.4s.
Remember, the winner represents our Region and even our area. We need whoever it will be to be at full strength in the semi's. We both have respect for each other and know we are both great teams. Let's remember that and play the game of the year that everyone has been waiting for.  Let's do this. 8)
Well said! Hurry up Friday!
Cs has played a lot better opponents in the playoffs than wos has. Just like wos played better opponents in the regular season and struggled while cs rolled.
I agree. This also gives WOS a slight advantage. IMO they are "rolling" at the right time.
Umm, no disrespect, but we scored more points on BC & Cleveland than they did.  They also lost to Giddings, who lost to Bellville in the 1st round.  No excuses...both teams have had injuries, illness, etc. Regardless of who either team has played, we have two very worthy teams.  Let's hope everybody is healthy come Friday night :)

Bullard just knocked Robinson (who beat Lorena) out of the playoffs. We just beat Bullard by 32...
Wow the old team A beat team B beat team C and we beat team A so were better. Give me a break lol.
As you can see.....it has been used before except taken one step further...."we scored more on them than they did".  :)
Dont make me bring up Orangefield... LOL I know yall were banged  up. Just stiring it up a little.  ;D
I could have bought that until 5-5 Lorena took CS to the brink... The "stiffer competition" thing went out the door with that one... Now, it doesn't matter. I'm a believer of 1 or 100, just win. But, you lost that angle when you almost lost to Lorena, sorry. I believe these tough games are good for Coldspring. They know they are beatible and will prepare for this game like it will be their last one. They have been in tough games before and make no mistake about it, this game will be a dog fight till the end.
this CS team knows how to handle adversity and have been tested throughout the playoffs and that is how champions are made. No angle, just the truth.

I hope WOS travels a little better than they did today. Just an observation , I think the weather kept a lot of the good folks from Orange off the road.
Actually I thought there seemed to be a lot more WOS in the stands today than on Bullards side. Come to think of it... I think 5-10% of those were from Coldspring. ;)
I guess I didnt get the memo. I was on the WOS side.
 6.
Can't wait bc going to be a good one. Who's the home team? CS?
Coldspring's home.
 7. I think WOS is the dog just becasuse of the rankings. Also its going to be like a home game for Coldspring. I know on the CS side it will be standing room only. If you want a seat you better get there early. I hope WOS travels a little better than they did today. Just an observation , I think the weather kept a lot of the good folks from Orange off the road. I dont think it could get any better than this. Go Trojans!

I think Defence is their stong side of the ball. They stay at home and their D line can get off of blocks well. LBs fly around and hit everything. Offence has a shifty little rb that can make guys miss. They have good receivers who can make plays too. But their qb doesnt make very good decisions with the ball sometimes. I think this game will come down to the final possession. Its gonna be a war. Good luck to all the boys. That being said 20-14 Coldspring.
fair assessment...
Thanks. Are yall going to have yalls other speedster back by Friday? Whats his name?

 10. 6pm start time sure would be nice! Any chance they will postpone for a couple hours? Raing hard in Coldspring now..
 11.
WEST ORANGE-STARK ROLLS, LORENA NEXT.
You wish it was Lorena! LOL
 12.
I must give credit where credit is due. Lorena's fans and team are the epitome of character and genuine kindness. I noticed that during the game, their players constantly helped ours up after a play. At the end of the game, as our band played our school song, their players stood respectfully. We stopped at a local gas station, where there were several Lorena fans, and each and every one of them complimented our team. This Trojan fan was totally impressed with the Lorena team on the field and the Lorena fans off the field.
Lorena is a class act. No doubt about it! Win or lose.
 13. Good artical. I think WO-S will handle Bullard just fine. Cant wait to see the game! Hoping for a well played and injury free game. Good luck to all the boys.
 14. Gotta take better care of the football. Congrats Trojans on another great game. Great teams overcome adversity and thats what this team continues to do.
 15.
I think I'm going to stop by after work to see the mighty ones play. [/quote ALLmighty ones! LOL ;D
 16. Hope the weather holds out for the game tomorrow. Good luck to WO-S! I am looking forward to seeing my first Mustang game of the year. Any other CS fans heading to the Woodlands tomorrow?
 17.
3 time defending 3A state champ Carthage goes down in double over time 35-34 to Argyle.  The Bulldogs lose on a missed extra point in overtime that hit the upright.  So there will be a new champion in division 2 this year in 3A.
WOW!!
 18.

I am pulling for Coldspring, and they should be the favorite.  But Lorena scares me for you.  I saw them a couple or so years ago.  Big corn fed boys.  Not particularly fast, but somehow they found a way to beat a superior (my opinion) Center team.  CS, better put them away early.  Don't let them hang around.
I totally agree...we put them away before half-time a couple of years ago and they still came back to beat us. We should know from experience not to take this team lightly!
Three years ago was three years ago. Different teams. The Lorena team I saw cant match up with our size and speed. We need to take the BS out of the playbook! Line up, get the snap, pound the football.  Hope the leapords eat plenty cornbread this week. Their gonna need it! LOL
 19. I went to Huntsville Saturday and watched the Lorena - Rusk game. I think CS shoud handle this game. Rusk didnt look very strong to me at all. Lorena moved the ball very easy on them but they really didnt break that many big playes. The Lorena d was phyiscal and disilplined but didnt look very fast to me. CS 27-10
