You can't ever count on stuff like that, but you're right. It's a possibility. Kirbyville should still win this district, with several teams competing well with them. It will be much more competitive every week in this district.

1. Kirbyville 2. Coldspring 3. Woodville 4. Buna That's how I see that district finishing, but Buna and Trinity will compete very well for those 3 and 4 spots with Woodville. Kountze will be way down and Warren will be improved, but still not great.

Top 10. Cameron Yoe, Teague, Malakoff, Kirbyville, EC, Coldspring off the top of my head are pretty much a shoe-in for the top ten in this region.

I feel like EC and Kville will be down, but they'll still be in the top tier of teams in the region. Coldspring will be tough, but I doubt they're much better than Kirbyville this year.

I don't know him personally at all. Never even hinted at that. But I have watched him in both the state championship games he's played in over the past two years. You can tell he has all those attributes by watching him play in that level of a game and succeed. I'm not sure where my statement even slightly hinted at me knowing him personally though. Seems you kinda pulled that out of a hat, huh?

Woodville is #1 for the second straight week!

Best QB in the area by a landslide. He will accel in both sports if he chooses to stay at Lamar, but I foresee some better football offers to come thus summer for him. He's very smart, a great leader, athletic, and has a cannon for being as small as he is. Congratulations Jack and family!!

Naahh I know my heart will stay with my Eagles down in TyCo. But, I imagine the Silsbee Tigers have worked their way up to second on my list. But I can assure you, that's as far as they will go up. Lol

Being a current resident of Silsbee, although my heart is in Woodville, I can firmly say Go Tigers!! I plan on attending at least a couple of games this season. If this is true about the transfers, then they shouldn't finish any worse than second. Those two fill the top two voids they had on their offense. They'll be just fine.

Bridge Cit has won district championships in 1966, 1969, 2000, and 2002. Wow....seems like one less than Woodville. Hmmmm. And that's not even to mention the last time the two teams scrimmage each other and Woodville put a pounding on BC. In fact, you can find video of that on YouTube, courtesy of VypeSETX. Man, I really hope that Cardinal in your name stands for the Lamar Cardinals... *Yes, I realize taking it that far back was a little bit extreme. But, either way, I hope I proved a point.*

Correction. They'll play a tie-breaker for second with Pollock Central. Stat tuned lol
