I’m all about results. If the slowed down tempo wins games, I don’t have a problem with it. And besides, you have to have the personnel to run up tempo fast pace basketball. Do Nederland have the personnel to do it? I don’t know. I have not seen them this year. But basketball is a beautiful sport. I’ve seen some slowed down basketball worked to perfection. Ever see Atascocita play? They work their motion half court offense To perfection.

I said on the previous thread that we’d win by more than 20…. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I bet this was an interesting game. Probably was a chess match between English and Boutte…

Me too. I hope Silsbee kicks their butt!

Yes. That’s about right.

I expect to see Kimball there too, but their district is tough. But they’ll be battle tested.

Cy-Ranch beat BU then lost 3 in a row. Currently, they’re 4-5.

Interesting stat…. The dunk-o-meter registered a Goose Egg today…. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Remember, we pulled our starters at the exact same time. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Silsbee - 54 United - 84 Final

They have, but maybe like 1…

Silsbee - 39 United - 61 End of the 3rd Period

Looks like #2 for Silsbee is the only one that wants to play. He has game and I’m told he’s only a sophomore?

I know one thing. The fans are into it. But ultimately, this really is too much for Silsbee to handle. BU needs to minimize the turnovers and go to the post game and put this outta reach early in the 3rd period.

Silsbee - 23 United - 41 Halftime

Silsbee - 12 United - 23 End of the 1st Period

Hopefully, our young freshmen have grown and Princess has a whale of a game.

I haven’t hear anything about a possibility of Yates missing the game.

You wouldn’t say that if you were a betting man. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hey, I’m right at home with Tiger nation. I have ties to Silsbee. But I’ll be of course rooting for them T-wolves.

I’ll be there . I think I’ll sit on Silsbee’s side.

We benefit from playing Smoke Town too. We get really acclimated to playing a team that plays fast and forces you to play that way the whole game. No matter how much length we have, you have to be in shape and have great endurance to hang with Silsbee. Seeing some of the teams Silsbee's beaten, I assume they wasn't so lucky running with the Tigers (West Brook and Summer Creek). But I do wonder how the heck did yall lose to Dobie?

What teams will be in that LaGrange Tourney?
