It's a good gesture and all, but it just doesn't sit well with me that West Brook will be giving up a HOME district game to a game basically in NS's back yard.  In district, you strive to get every possible advantage.  The only thing I can think of is you'll get some big time exposure, such as espn or something.  I don't think that's the case.  The  people from Reliant Stadium gave the invitation.  I  think that this could have been done in a pre district game or perhaps be used as a playoff venue.  Maybe West Brook should have declined...

Half the kids that lost to Vidor will be seniors next year so it's a different story now anyway. We've been to the playoffs 8 straight years and the individual talent level is ridiculous for the next 6 years so expect to make it 14 at least. Vidor wasn't the first and I'm sure won't be the last first round playoff loss in that span. An L is an L, as many as you saw last year you should know that. I watched it again this a.m. and realized that Vidor is probably going to struggle to get to 5-5. I guess after watching so many times and knowing what the play should have been I finally saw how many time he turned a poorly executed/broken play into a first down or td. Losing over thirty starts and along with Miller pretty much 65% of the offense. I actually think the defensive production can be close to replaced but if you think you're putting a first year starter out there and he's going to be as good at covering up mistakes and just running the ball period I think y'all are going to be disappointed. Vidor's D has been decent over the last couple years because they keep the ball so long, that's going to be a different story with a few more three and outs per game along with potential fumbles. 4-6 did get into the playoffs in 20-4a last year but if Ozen and Central are both legit The Pearl's playoff hopes could be in major trouble.
