No, he isn't. It was just an honest nonbiased observation. I'm glad the kid got better because his shooting was one of the weaker parts of his game, but looks like that 3 ball is 'water' now.

Now, great highlights. Good that he improved because his shot looks to be better. But I see that this kid is benifitting greatly from horrible defense (or competition, lack of) and what appears to be a really tall kid that was the recipient of many of those lob passes and easy dump offs....

And OF, since when have you been high on Saveat? I remember not long ago, you gave Boutee praise and you downtalked Saveat because you were in your feelings because Ozen wasn't consistently beating Central anymore.... And you said it wouldn't have happened under Boutee's watch and the program went to shambles since Saveat took over. Well, this is not verbatim, but pretty much what you said. Many heated arguments we had about this, you and I. We used to ask you how do you run Ozen into the ground but carry the name Ozensfinest. It's just amazing what a few years bring now. A state championship appearance later and you're all in. Ozen has the best guards in the state... Saveat is great. Boyd is the best guard in this area... Ect, ect, ect.....

And BTW, Comeaux didn't come out of nowhere. Kid was playing at a high level last year as well...

Like a previous poster stated, for the last 3 or 4 years, Ozen has played top 4a and 5a talent in various tournaments, so seriously doubt Ozen is dodging Silsbee...

I don't know. Although Ozen has some big game experience, so does Silsbee, but much more. Plus those 2 pesky freshman actually push it to a toss up.

Not really funny. Nederland was winning big against Ozen in both meetings and Ozen had to come fro. Behind... And I believe Big Sandy is better than Nederland. But now, the way that Ozen has been playing these last 4 games, Big Sandy wouldn't win...

Trust me, I see it now a little. I just don't think the hate is on Ozen, but it may be just that Ozen basketball is the bar that you measure yourself to, which that in itself can be misconstrued as hate. Well, that's my opinion at least.

Silsbee blows this open too. Sterling lost all those seniors last year. Silsbee barely breaks a sweat.... And now they Bridgeport lost last night, Silsbee may have dodged a dive bullet in the bigger scheme of things...

Right here... Central battled and actually win every period in this game, except the 3rd where they were doomed. You can't allow lapses like that and expect to beat the #1 team in the state. Nonetheless, great season to these group of Jags.
