  1. There have been some good ones over the years at the Brook...of course the 1982 team that won a state title would probably have to be the best. Not the best record at 11-4-1, but that team got better and better every game they played. The 1987 team was also good, along with the 1991 and 1992 teams that all went 10-0 in the regular season. The 1994 team was a state quarterfinalist as well as the 1997 team that went 11-3 and tied the school record for wins in a season. 2005 and 2006 teams were both good....but the 2007 version of Bruin football might be the best yet! ;D (they've certainly got the best defense they've had in a LONG time!)
  2. You're absolutely right.....kids are moving to where there's a good chance at getting a better education. Obviously, it's not at Ozen!
  3. I was at the game and the Brook looked good, but Louis really needs to work on the pitch-out on the run. The goal line offense needs some work, also. ;D
  4. dude, your HS English teachers must be beaming with pride!
  5. as much as I don't like you...you're right!
  6. When WB's Soundpower plays "Parade of Champions", and of course "Paw Power"..err Russian Christmas Music always gets the crowd pumped up! ;D
  7. EXACTLY......I said the very same thing on another post, and they couldn't take it. It hurt their feelings, like I wasn't giving them enough credit!
  8. I definitely wouldn't say those things. If you make it, you make it...it doesn't matter how you get there. Just don't count your chickens.........there's still ALOT of football left to play between now and then!
  9. I'm gonna go out on a limb on this one and say BC is gonna take this close fought game.....obviously some major improvements in the HJ game that they can build on!
  10. you mean to tell me that we have to wait till then before ya'll will shut up......I guess we can wait that long!!!! ;D
  11. West Brook, PA Memorial, Barbers Hill, Galena PArk, Ozen, PN-G, Lumberton, Orangefield, Bridge City, Hardin Jefferson, East Chambers, Kountze, Hardin, Legacy
  12. LMAO ;D....I was here before you, and I'll be here long after you wanna be's have had your butts handed to ya....get a life! By the way, I never said Lumberton would not beat Dayton.
  13. I'm not even gonna touch this one....both teams are loaded with talent and both teams are not playing up to their potential. It's a coin flip!..........heads, Ozen!
  14. :'( :'( :'( boo hoo hoo....quit your whining. You're just mad because you know I'm right about what I said. What you guys need is a real a-- whipping to bring you down to earth. You have everything to be proud of in your win over Dayton, but you're not getting any respect from most of the posters on this board due to all your trash talking in defense of Lumberton. Do your talking on the field and take constructive criticism with a grain of salt and learn from it. Don't have a sore attitude about it! It only makes you look immature. It's only one game, one district win....not the SUPER BOWL!
  15. that's exactly what I was trying to say to Raider88, but he got his panties all in a wad about it! :-*
  16. LMAO....do I sense a little hostility towards our coach???
  17. ease up there, man.....I wasn't being negative, I was simply stating the fact that people have stereotyped Lumberton as being a weak team(over the years), and you're not going to change that opinion with four wins. People aren't just going to bow down to the Raiders this soon, because you're not really tested. It's going to take time, and respect will come with continued success. Good luck Raiders
  18. easy Raider fans, you'll probably win but Vidor is no pushover.....I predict a close, hard fought game that Lumberton will prolly win, but not by alot! :-*
