[/quote] Maybe Silsbee isn't as good as we thought? Maybe East Chambers is better that most expected. Silsbee coaches got some serious work to do before PNG comes to town. I'd plan on coming to town for that game, but if East Chambers blasted them like that, I might have to come when district starts.

I'm at Memorial City Mall right now with my co workers. Just went by Footaction and the manger told me they got 13 pair of the Lebron shoes at 315. He said they will sell out in less than 5 minutes.

For Silsbee we should also mention Brandi McCain (All American basketball) All district volleyball and Chris Miller Allstate 1st team basketball and All district football. He helped lead a very good Tiger defense to the schools longest playoff run.

There is never a need to steal shoes period! If they are 300 and a kids has them, let him enjoy his. Maybe his parents have that kind of disposable income. Lebron Lso makes cheaper shoes as well and Jordan. Things that are high fashion always have a price tag. The reason is they aren't meant for everyone to have. Just like houses, cars, and jewelry. Grow up, get a degree, get a good job, buy whatever you want.

I think if a parent can afford to pay that for their child then so be it. Nothing wrong with it in my eyes. If not there are plenty of other nice shoes to choose from that look nice.

I guess it's all about what you want. I collect shoes. I own 123 pair that I have never worn before. I don't condon anyone who spends their last dime on them.

Not I man! Don't camp out for kicks no more. Some guys broke into GreensPoint Mall last night thru the roof and tried to steal 45 pair. If you are a shoe collector like me, there some websites that release these shoes a few months earlier. I always purchase any pair of Jordans I want this way. You may pay a extra 80-100 but it's better than getting up at 3am to go stand in line or try calling in to Eastbay to get them.

Couldn't Silsbee pay a adult 25 per game to run the scoreboard? People normally work harder for money vs free labor.

From what I understand, a jumtron could cost in the ballpark of 15-30k for a LED style one. I think if every graduate from Silsbee high donated 20 bucks we could have a nice one. I'm not sure about the up keep of those things though. If local business in SETX wanted to advertise on it, you could charge them maybe 300 per season. I think it shows Silsbee has some very good athletes. I remember at one time they only had maybe two or three kids that played both sports. With Jones moving back to MacArthur, I'm sure Silsbee will still have a decent season. ;D I with all the Tigers nothing but success this season!
