1. Cody Cummings,Sherman Gilbert,Taylor Kelly,Matt Wilson,Chance Andries,Trey McKinney,Caleb Shelly and Alfred Scott from Coldspring
2. Who's some of the players or coaches, playoff predictions, general information, etc.?
3. The trouble with any 3a school trying to play a 5a school is that the 5a schools would keep fresh packing talented kids in there, not to say that there starters are better, but they are deeper and in the second half it would really show.
4. Well the game of the year in 22 3a is finally here, Haven't seen Huffman play but looking at the stats they're a really good team, The way I see it , it will come down to whos defense can make the most stops and if  their defense is their leakest link it will be a very long night for the Falcons, same for Coldspring, the game is at home for the Trojans and I know its going to be an exciting game, GOOD LUCK to both, I think it will be Coldspring by 14.
5. After the beat down they took last week from Coldspring, Huffman will exploit the other part of their defence that the Trojans didn't, couldn't stop the run last week, won't stop the pass this week! Falcons will run'em ragged trying to keep up with their passing attack. Big # 88 Reed got Totally manhandled by Big # 65 Wilson and got flattened by # 24 Cummings at the goal line  trying  to stop him one on one, Coldspring scored 41 on them in the first half and it won't be no different for Huffman, Falcons in a rout.
6. Cody cummings RB from Coldspring and OT Matt Wilson also from Coldspring.
7.
He is a Freak, man amoung boys in the 8th grade.  Good kid too.  Where are you from, that you know so much about Groveton?  Glad to see that we still have some followers out there. [Man, back in the day Groveton football was the topic of most football conversations, they were in the state finals every year and kicked the crap out of just about everyone they played, A true dominating era for the Indians, the only way you didn't know about them is if you were hiding under a rock./quote]
8. sad thing is that they fired coach Darrell Dickey to hire Todd, Coach Dickey had won their conference championship 2 out of the last 4 years he was there, he had a heart attack his last year there and they had a losing record so they promptly let him go to hire Coach Dodge who was wanting to jump to the college ranks, I feel for the players but not the university, I think they got what they deserve, Coach Dickey is a good coach, and an even better man, that comes from a family of football coaches. Best of luck to North Texas.
9. pirates should pull this one off and finally get their first win of the season, good luck to both teams.
10. Congrats to St.Thomas, They're having a pretty desent season, Maybe Hollas has turned the corner down there.
11. it's gonna get ugly, Groveton will have there way with them. Good to see Groveton doing well, reminds me of the Neal Kemper/ Micheal Horace and Glen Ray Thornton/ Rodney Thomas days around there. What about this younger Kemper kid on the 8th grade team I'm hearing so much about?
12. I'm sure that Jasper will play with alot of heart, but in the end it's gonna be to much Kirbyville, they're really solid all the way around, good luck to both.
13. Kirbyville can hold thier own against most schools, lotta respect for them.
14. In the Coldspring/Orangefield game, Coldspring had 568 yards of rushing to Orangefields 117 yards of total offence,We really have a pretty good Oline
15. Ford from Kirbyville and Cummings from Coldspring, Cummings only plays half the game and still leads the area in rushing!

I mean they're not even in dave campbell's top 25 for 3a (coldspring is). I guess dave campbell doesn't know what he's talking about though.(sarcasm)
No sarcasm needed, Dave's picks stink.
coldspring vs. orangefield 53-6              silsbee vs. orangefield 38-34        That's all that has to be said.
17.

Sorry to say but Huffman doesn't have near enough speed to hang with Coldspring, you can say all you want to, I seen the game against Shepherd (and yes Huffman was in control of that game the entire night) but after everything I heard and read about Huffman I really thought I would of seen a more Physical and faster team. You have a few kids that can run but do not have near enough team speed (from the lineman to the secondary) to compete with Coldspring. Coldspring is a lot bigger and way more Physical than Huffman. I am not taking anything away from Huffman cause they are a good team and will get second in the district but I just don't see where they have enought to stay with Coldspring. Yes I know DeBerry is a great QB and you have a couple of recievers that are very good, I don't disagree with that, but DeBerry will not have a lot of time to sit back and pass the ball and the defensive speed that Coldspring has is going to be too much. Again if you don't score 70 points Huffman will not win, the Huffman defense is not going to allow them to stay in the game, If Huffman's offense is on the sidelines then they are not going to be out there throwing the ball around. The only way to be a spread offense like what Huffman has is to keep them on the sidelines and that is what Coldspring will do.
We played Coldspring the first game of the season, tough team...I think Coldspring will wear Huffman down, and control the second half..Coldspring bgy 14+..Good Luck To Both Teams..
We should've beaten kirbyville too. First game of the season for both teams,so both a little rusty, but kirbyville only scored 14 offensive points, coldspring got close to the goal line many times, but just couldn't punch it in. Also coldspring's offensive scheme wise was not prepared for kirbyville's defense, many people came through untouched because of missed assignments by OL, because coldspring definetly had the size advantage up front and you could tell when they started running normal smashmouth plays. You can bet during the playoffs that coldspring coaches will be studying that game hard before the two teams meet, and ultimately we'll see who the better team is.

19. #65 from coldspring. OL committed to houston.

Both teams blew out orangefield by about 50 points!!!
Orangefield and Huffman have not played this year. I do agree that Coldspring is ranked too low.
I don't know what I was thinking saying orangefield played huffman, sorry about that, but silsbee just barely got out with a win against orangefield 38-34 this past week. Let me remind the poll people of the coldspring-orangefield score, 53 to 6. Just something to consider for the next round of polls.
