Can they even legally release the names of all the coaches that applied?  There may be circumstances where the coaches may be employed with another district and this may not look good if it is a known fact they are seeking employment elsewhere.  Just a thought.

The fact that two coaches from within the district applied for the AD/HC job is not the reason for the interviewing process.  The only time a district can fill a position from within without interviewing for the open spot is if the move is a lateral move.  For instance if WOS had two AD's for some reason the remaining AD could just be named the AD.  This happens all the time with Asst. Principals.  Since the AD/HC would be a promotion for either WOS coaches, the interviewing process was unavoidable.

Didn't mean to fan the flame just stated what I remembered happening years ago.  I agree that both the bears and the stangs have made great strides in dropping the "enemy" moniker that both have used against each other in the past.  I have always thought that Orange would be better united than spilt down 87.  TD you should know that.

Anyone who knows coach Crouch knows he would not let this happen.  I agree this is a sour grapes thing. 

Did anyone take photos from the wos-kirbyville game?  I have checked the news sites but cannot find anything.  I know the local schools made some chains in hopes of circling the field but I have not heard anything else.
