1.
I wouldnt side with CS from the stands where i saw them when huffman played them they are a real cocky team that plays real dirty.
i agree, screw "supporting" our district, they played dirty against us, delibertly tried starting crap with almost all our players on the field and won off of crap calls and dirty blows. and they sure as heck aren't supporting us (atleast the fans on this site aren't)---but they did use our nice field for their playoff game.
2. there have been plenty of upsets thus far, don't rule out huffman, especially if you don't know our boys.
3. true. however, look at the way huffman racked up the score against their oponents in district--- pulling out the starters and still scoring. our district is what it is and there is nothing we can do about that but bring all we have to the playoffs and prove ourselves.

5. gotta go with my hometown and freshman campus. hummmmmbbbbllllleeeee.
6. Does it matter if our players play two ways or not? I saw plenty of players on the Silsbee sidelines who didn't go in on offense or defense.
7.
More Important... Huffman coach does not stop makeing stupid calls like Pass playes when you should be controling the clock it want matter if the D comes to Play :'(
Where do you get off insulting Coach Mac? And our passing plays are what gets us down the field and in the end zone. Our three main receivers are some of our biggest assets along with an outstanding QB and an excellent coach. So I feel like you really don't know what you are talking about and should probably warrant your opinions.
8.
One of the best High school games I have ever seen.  It was even better watching it from Sillsbee's sideline and feeding off the players emotions.  I am not going to take nothing away from the players but there were 2 bad calls on Silsbee and a bunch of no calls against Huffman for blocking in the back and holding.  I lost count of how many times Silsbee's DB's were held by recievers and D-lineman held when got through O-line.  and when confronted the refs had no answer why the calls were made or not called.
don't say you don't want to take "nothing away from the players" and then call out the receivers and defensive linemen. The huffman receivers played the same way as the silsbee boys...FAIRLY, it's their job to block for their teammates so we can score...and the refs weren't turning a blind eye to our defense either. If anything the questionable call was DeBerry's "fumble."
9. i agree. but it will be a good match up, one we can definitely handle. if our defense played the way they did against coldspring, and cole and the receivers are on their game, i think we stand a very good chance.
10. and by we, i mean the falcons. GO HUFFMAN!
11. i believe the game is at tully stadium in the spring branch school district. that's what i've heard.
12.
Im kinda shocked that navasota beat sealy. Didnt see that one coming.
me too. but i think we lucked out, we match up better against their offense! can't wait for friday!
13. I would like to add that this was my first year watching 3A football and my first year watching the Huffman Silsbee matchup and I was so impressed with both teams. Silsbee has some amazing athletes and it was the best high school game I think I've ever seen...better than any 5A game I've watched. But of course, way to go HUFFMAN, can't wait for next week!!!!
14. I wasn't complaining. Just simply stating my opinion and complimenting the Huffman boys on their determination. I also was sure to say that both teams deserved to be in the final two and that either one was deserving of the district title. It was a well fought game and I do not believe that any of the players from either team deserve to be called out or blamed for the loss. Everyone went out on the field and gave it their all. Period.
15. I'm with you falcon. Casey, Joel and Riley all deserve it. They at least deserve district recognition.
16. Is anyone going to actually name some players?
17. The huffman boys fought till the end, despite the fact that the officials were CLEARLY against them. Every time they got on a roll, it was shut down, but they didn't let that stop them and that shows what a good team they are. You can say the game was fair all you want, but anyone in that stadium knows that's crap. But both teams came out there and played their hardest and showed that they deserve to be the top two in district. It's unfortunate that Huffman wasn't given a fair shot-- I would have liked to seen a fair game played.
18. Huffman deserves more credit than they have been getting. The boys have put up the numbers all season and if it weren't for the stripes last night, their fight against CS may have ended differently. They are just as deserving as any other team in region three.
19. Julian leads the receivers in touchdowns. Chronicle has 6, but they don't give him credit for his TD in the Hamshire-Fannett game.
