It's like playing an 8:00 am tourney game. Huge empty gym and players tired after 2 hour bus ride. Takes a while to get going.

Although you are probably right, that is why they are called upsets. NO one can predict when they will occur.  Ask Florida's football team, Phy Slamma Jamma, Georgetown, Central (silsbee with jv players) etc... ;D

What is the most likely upset in 20-4a tomorrow night? LCM over Ned. Livingston over Ozen  or PNG over Central I don't really see an upset occuring but something fun to talk about. I will pick Livingston over Ozen just because it is in Livingston and so far away. Its a tough place to play because it is dead in that gym.

Good game. I love these friendly rivalry games. The mustangs have bragging rights for the year. Both teams have most of their team back next year so these games will be great next year as well.

LCM 52 PNG 51 Png closed with 4 or 5 3s. Close game. WOS will play LCM for championship at 4:30.

LCM 50 Australia 39 Playing much better. Rematch with PNG tomorrow at 12:00.

LCM 40 Orangefield 28 Early morning game and took teams a while to warm up.

Only on message boards do fans try to make their teams sound better by saying how poorly they played. :o

It's time to give some props to WOS and stop giving excuses for HJ. Since the football boys came back for WOS they have not lost. Their two best players are just bball (Paige and Joubert) but add in the football athletes and they are good. They won't go undefeated in dist. but will definitely compete with everyone and could get the first or second spot.

Thinking of this rule always reminds me of a game between Lincoln and LCM back in the early 80's.  Lincoln went ahead and dunked about 7 or 8 times in warmups (it was very entertaining by the way) and got 7 or 8 technicals.  LCM made the freethrows and started the game up by 7 or 8 points.  Of course Lincoln went on to win but it was an interesting way to start a game.

This is an outdated rule that has no place in todays hs basketball.  It was put in place to keep one team that had players who could dunk from "intimidating" another team that had no players who could dunk.

Nederland should not have a problem with Livingston. They r not as good as last year. Unfortunately neither is LCM.

This game could be important for that 4th playoff spot in district 20-4a.  Plus we should get a good look at how good Livingston is this year.  It is always somewhat of a mystery with them being so far away and playing a preseason schedule of teams we are not real familar with.  LCM should know alot about their chances this year after this week since they also have PNG friday.

This could be a great game.  Ozen will need to be able to get in a running game and cause some turnovers to beat Central.

I can tell you in two words: "actual momentum"  ;D

That's a good question.  We have some Lion fans on this site but they sure are quiet.  Are Green and Collins both playing this year? 

The Bears have come a long way since the year started but they have to stop turning the ball over.  The only way they win tonight is if they take care of the ball and play good D on Lott and Memorial's big (Chapman?).  Being at home will help this young team.  They have the talent but need to learn to win.

Didn't see you there dove. You should have given the update and told everyone how the game went. Game went back and forth and was close til about one minuite left. LCM had to start fouling and wos made their freethrows. It was a good rilvalry game.

WOS had its football players tonight and they contributed well without much practice. WOS will be very good this year.
