We are looking at all positions and we will still have tryouts this Saturday.

We would like to Congratulate the Bayou Bats on their 7th place finish. To have 2 teams from this area to finish in the top 7 teams of the World Series is a GREAT accomplishment. We wish them the best of luck.

Texas Strikers 14 U team place 5th at the USFA World Series in Panama City Beach,FL this week. They made it to the diamond bracket which consists of the final 8 teams in their age group.  The team is comprised of girls from southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana and are based out of Buna. The girls dedication and sacrifice is a reflection of their commitment to excellence. The team would like to thank the Lamar State Port Arthur coaches, Megan and Casey, for providing guidance and leadership throughout the year.

The Texas Strikers 14u will be holding tryouts for roster positions for the fall season. We are actively recruiting girls who want to join our team and we offer the following advantages:

Our practices are run by college coaches Megan Rowe and Casey Goodman from Lamar Port Arthur. The Lamar coaches also travel with us to our tournaments and coach the girls in a live tournament setting. Megan and Casey are instrumental in the development of our girls as they prepare them for high school and college softball.

We are a fully funded, corporately sponsored team, which means we don't charge fees or dues, we do not fundraise, we provide uniforms and helmets, and as we play many "away" tournaments, the team provides hotel accommodations for the team when we travel.

We've attended the World Series the last two years and will be returning this July. This trip is also funded by the team and hotels and food for the players is provided at no cost to the parents.

Our focus is on allowing our parents to enjoy watching their daughters play without any financial burden or restrictions.

Thanks for all the updates

Texas Strikers would like to Thank everyone for coming out to our tournament.  We had some great weather and got to see some great softball.  A special Thanks to Lamar State College coaches for coming to our tournament.  All the Teams played great and we enjoyed watching them and being their host.  Best of Luck to all the teams and we look forward to seeing everyone at the park.

Congratulations Unleeshed 10 U at the World Series.  We know it was the first time for most of the players and everyone did a Great Job!!! Best of Luck in the Future. Keep it up.
