1. Example: Cleveland will dress 7 sophomores for tonights game against HF. Five of which are true sophomores. Just doesn't seem fair to those kids but I know thats just the way it is. Seems like Cleveland I.S.D. needs to work on the grades instead of Basketball.
 2.
I heard he was actually 7', but got his knees done so now he is 6'7".  8)
No actually he is 6' 8". Knees are fine, it's the ankles!
 3. I heard he is actually 6'8", they just list him at 6' 7".

Several years back the Texas State Legislature made it a crime for a student, regardless of age, and an employee of a school district to have an inappropriate relationship. It is NOT simply a "school policy".
Dav-J  Show me the "law" and file the charges  ;)
§ 21.12. IMPROPER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATOR AND STUDENT.  (a) An employee of a public or private primary or secondary school commits an offense if the employee engages in sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse with a person who is enrolled in a public or private primary or secondary school at which the employee works and who is not the employee's spouse. (b)  An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree.        (c)  If conduct constituting an offense under this section also constitutes an offense under another section of this code, the actor may be prosecuted under either section or both sections. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 224, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, Age is no longer a factor.

Anytime these two teams step on the court it will be a battle.
Like they say, if things go right for one team and bad for the other any team can win.

 10.
Bottom line in this situation, DeCello is gone because of off court problems. It had nothing to do with his coaching. The team could be undefeated right now with a YMBL tourney championship in their pocket and he would have still been let go because of this situation. Has nothing to do with parents, players or others not liking his coaching style. DeCello is gone because he himself messed up. It's on him and nobody else.
Sounds like your stating a rumor to me that he is gone for off court problems. Do you know for sure why he is gone or are you just speculating. Better be careful or you might get a warning. ;D ;D ;D
Funny How it is HJ's fault, if someone was to say something about your school or your team you would be the first to "defend" them logically by way of a post. We can all stop posting on here if that is what everyone wants, this is hypocritical. I typically hate reading a thread about another team and see someone has pulled HJ into it, if it is deragatory, then I post something in defense, just as you would. As I said in another post, from what I have seen it it usually a derogatory remark made, someone comes on in defense and we (HJ) get blamed for it....Just call us the George Bush's of the board....
That's warning #1 for you Poppa!!!!! >:( >:(
 12. I think LC-M has a couple of decent shooting guards, it seemed to me they just didn't work on getting them enough shots. Their two big post kept things clogged up down low and forced us to do more perimeter shooting, which is usually ok with us but we seemed a little flat at times and made some bad decisions. It was a slug fest down in the paint.
 13. I think Dove knows that most of the time, most of us are just picking at him!

There is also a lot of drama going on with another school in the district. Not the same situation but they are trying to get rid of the head football coach and girls basketball coach. Sad society we live in is all I can say.
Way to much drama no matter what the coach did I think Dove jumped from the kettle to the fire!!!
I did? My kid is in Hollywood, CA on a school field trip at the UCLA School of Communications ;) If thats jumping into the fire, just keep on burning me ;D
But if they had stayed they could have went to College Station on a school field trip to the Texas A@M school of Animal Husbandry.!! ;D ;D

 17. A couple of the H-J kids had sandals stolen out of their lockers after the Ozen players left from the locker room during a scrimmage at H-J. Glad the coach is strict with them. A couple of bad kids will make the whole team look bad. I know from personal experience that there are several good, decent young men on that team. Good luck Panthers!!!!
 18.
I've seen H-F last week vs. my team.  They need better ball handlers.  The guards that they have can't handle the press.  They have some athletes that can go.  I would assume they need good shooters to be able to stretch the floor as well.  But, IMO, they will be right in the thick of things in their district.
If Blue Dove hadn't moved :D :D ::) ::) Hamshire-Fannett would be a force in 21-3a this year.

Okay, I will admit to only one thing. I'm guessing the statue of limitations has passed anyway. In high school we had to attend an assembly with the band playing etc, etc, etc, bah-hh! ANYWAY! I just so happen to have a can of (hmmmmm?) Okay, the guy next to me had this can of pepper spray. ;D  *Edit* NEVAMIND!!!!!! 23.
Dont know about that Mr. AggiesAreWe....If you truly knew about the situation in the Houston area, you would not make broad generalizations about how the Yates HS kids are being "recruited" to the school...and the bias is obvious when it comes to your beloved Silsbee and its "transfers"....Mr. stevenash, I was also being sarcastic (extremely) in saying that Sour Lake was a hot spot of any sort....However when you guys get your "transfers", it does cause one to wonder why would anyone "transfer" TO Sour Lake, Texas.....BUT you guys find it impossible for a kid in the Houston area to WANT to attend Houston Yates HS...They REALLY ARE a magnet school for communications, as stated earlier...While I do not agree with all the high school kids transferring, I can't help but notice the obvious bias when it comes to certain schools in this area when it comes to the topic...On one hand its the "rich getting richer" but on the other its recruiting....which one is it? I guess it depends on where you live and who you root for...I guess.
Why would anyone "transfer" to Sour Lake??    How about virtually no crime and a high performing school district.  Who in their right mind would want to move to the Yates district. Have you ever been to the neighborhoods nears Yates or for that matter most in Beaumont. Not the safest place for your kid to be around, just saying from experience!!
