I agreed with you about the Republican buffoonery so that subject was finished.  Thought it was easier to ask my next question in the same thread instead of starting a new one.   Why not answer my question about Benghazi instead of avoiding it with the hackneyed "change the subject " response?  I will be glad to start a new thread if you prefer.

I guess you are right.  Do you think promising to halve the deficit ( but instead increasing it by 40%) and making a multitude of economic promises that were unkept and assuring of the most transparent administration ever is buffoonery as well?

Does that mean that parents should never let their kids play Cowboys and Indians?

Does that mean the 17 year old should get less or should the murdered get more?   If a 17 year old should get less, what about a 19 year old or a 22 year old?    If a 17 year old and a 35 year old ( with very similar behavior backgrounds) commit a crime together, does the older one deserve more punishment?

Its because of the cyclicality of the economy.  You get periods of growth followed by periods of contraction , and the cycle repeats itself.  It has done so for years.  This "recovery" is the weakest in 70 years and GDP is running at about half of what the average post recession recovery runs.  So I suggest to you that the things you perceive as good could be a lot better.  Or, better yet, the good things that you perceive are happening in spite of the Presidents policies rather than as a result of them.  But if you insist that someone in political office should get credit, I am sure you will gladly honor Governor Perry because Texas has one of the strongest economies in the nation and it is based on less regulation and lower taxes, both of which are the opposite of the Federal Policies.  If you think higher taxes and more regulations ( as Mr. Obama prefers) works, just compare the economies of Texas and California.   In March of 2014, Beaumont unemployment rate is 5.3%   In March of 2008, Beaumont unemployment rate was 5.2%

KInd of reminds me of when Hillary started the rumor about Obama not being a natural born citizen when she was running against him, but the Repubs get full credit for that.

You are slightly off in your assessment.  Republicans want you to be able to support any children that you bring into this world and to teach them the same.  Others think the government should take care of them and that they should teach their offspring not to worry about self responsibility.

The Obama Administration has been claiming that insurance companies will be competing for your dollars under the Affordable Care Act, but apparently they haven't surveyed the nation's top hospitals. Americans who sign up for Obamacare will be getting a big surprise if they expect to access premium health care that may have been previously covered under their personal policies. Most of the top hospitals will accept insurance from just one or two companies operating under Obamacare.     If you get coverage under Obamacare, less than half of the plans in the Houston area will pay for care at MD Anderson.
