  2. We will have a huge race at the track this Thursday night.

The USMTS modified race car touring circuit is coming into town on Thurday to start a 4 day race at 4 different tracks.

These guys are for real they travel in from all over the United States with those big trucks like the NASCAR guys use.

The races will start at 7:30 PM so grab the kids and come out for a night of exciting races.

Don't worry about it being a real late night at the track because the USMTS guys like to run a very fast night of racing.

They don't wait on the driveres to get in line they move the show around them so we should be out of there somewhere around 10:00 pm or a little later but should not be to much later.

If you come out I promise you nobody will be disappointed with these cars.

Then we show back up on Friday night for our regular show so hope to see everyone at the track.

If you come out, come over to the pits and find the black / white 31T limited modified  we will be there Thursday night and Friday night.

You can meet a 17 year old kid that drives in that class.

  5. This is the season ending race, Gary Watson of Bevel Oaks is about 40 points from taking the ASCS season championship points chase.

We are taking our Limited Modified over there so Tyler can run with those guys.

They are also running the CRATE LATE MODEL, we have a couple of local drivers that run in the late model class over in Houston, Darryl Seal of Seals Automatic Tranmissions in Beaumont, Tracy Denby JR., and Jeff Bell from Beaumont.

Make the drive over to Baytown to watch some very fast and exciting racing because it is only about a 1hour and 10minutes drive.

  6. These cars were so fast last Saturday that when the leader Channin Tankersly (a 17 year old kid) past the stands on the pits side there was about a 2' long vapor trail that came off the back of the wing.

The kid was flying and was running the top of track right on the cushion.

It was a good night of racing, just wish more people could have made it but I think that some people might have thought that they would be rained out.

They will be back in town in September so come out and fill the stands or one better come into the pits a visit with the drivers.
