We did win that game 49-32, but that was early in the year!!!

We beat them but was thinking like more around 12-14 points, but you could be right!!!

Can't find much on them either!!! Found a couple of articles on a local paper in Sealy, but it's hometown stuff and it's mostly on district play. They did beat Strafford 46-44 at home to give their coach his 250th win. Of course their coach said they're not very good, he was sitting right behind us last night scouting!!! He did say both teams seem to play the same style of basketball, so I'm thinking it should be a good game with either team very capable of beating the other!!!

I guess they played La Grange last Friday in a play in game. They play Strafford, winner gets HJ!!!

Wyatt didn't play at all in the 2nd half, complained of dizziness at halftime from what I'm hearing. No shame in this loss, girls played ok Starks is for real. I know their a 1A school in Louisiana but they can flat out shoot the rock. Made it to the final four last year and is currently ranked 2nd in the state!!! Good tuneup for the Lady Cats!!!

I believe this is right... 1.Sealy 2.Strafford 3.Brookshire Royal I know the first two places are correct!!!

If that's correct and they get the winner of LaGrange and Strafford, that means that Navasota didn't make the playoffs this year!!! Last standings I saw for that district had Giddings in first, Smithville in second and LaGrange and Navasota were tied for third!!! Wow!!!

Just received a text from a friend that heard on Tidwell's radio show that a Lady Cardinal got hurt in practice...said they wouldn't disclose the name but it was a major player. Anyone heard anything???

Usually not to much talk before these two teams get together, I believe that's because both teams and fans respect the other!!!

Obviously you haven't seen Orangefield play to much in the past. That's how we play the game, we press and force turnovers. We're not loaded with super stars, we have very fundamentally sound basketball players that play hard and are very basketball smart. Most of our games are close till the second half and gradually we pull away from our opponent. That's our game plan, we basically wear teams out with our style and depth. It's not running up the score, we go 10 deep this year so we have fresher legs than most teams late in the game!!! Also HJ is definetly the team to beat in this district!!! We've had some great battles with them over the past few years, I don't see that changing this year.

Silsbee is always tough at home, I think Orangefield wins by 8!!! If Orangefield is shooting it well, I like Bleed's pick!!! It's district play so I'll take a 1 point win as well!!!

I hope y'all are right about the girls, but this UCA team scares me. I'll take a one point win, but I see the girls winning by 8 or so...UCA has one of the best players in the country in Megan Herbert. She can flat out play, now whether she has much help I don't know. If they can slow her down some and be physical with her and get her out of her game, we win!!! Should be interesting. The Houston win was a big win, but Houston also were without the services of one of their best players in Courtney Taylor. She's a force inside and averages almost 20 points a game. I just think a lot of people are seeing the Houston score and thinking that the girls will run all over UCA. I hope y'all are right, just don't see that happening!!!

Yep not good for the Lady Bobcats...both games were cancelled last minute not giving our staff enough time to try to find a replacement. Cats haven't played since they lost to Ozen on Dec 21st.

You have no clue about Bleed...one of the best athlete's to ever come out of Orangefield or Orange county for that matter!!! He was also a state champion badminton player back in the day!!!
