I would not push WOSgrad.  He removed a couple or a few sentences from a post I made. I will admit they had some language that should not have been present.  There were a handful of drinks down, a poster that believes they are the mightiest of all and can never be wrong but had facts against them, even when they miss the toilet pissing, but gave me a first time warning.  Respect for that WOSgrad.

So, to sum it up, DESPITE PLAYING AT HOME, D-FW failed to win in 8 of the 10 classifications, if they made it to the finals at all. Of the 2 wins they got, one was a 2 point win by Allen after the LT QB went down on the first play and dropped the ball at the one, giving 7 free points to Allen. If the LT QB knee does not blow out, LT wins for sure. Allen was beyond lucky to win. Manvel had HP thoroughly beat, but let up in the last minute for a HP miracle win by 4. So, D-FW was within 6 points of being shut out entirely! 

It amazes me how some people here on SETXSports worship the D-FW teams at the holy alter of Jerrys World the way they do, enough of the slobbering adoration! Even worse is the insanity of believing there is no home field advantage for D-FW teams home games while opponents drive 4-5 hours by bus then sleep in a hotel. I don't know if its blind ignorance, willful ignorance, or just raw stupidity. Play these exact same games in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, or even Waco, and D-FW is SKUNKED IN 2017.

Sorry, but that just blew up in YOUR face. 

 

So the DFW area wins 2 state titles and the Houston area wins 1?  Your original point was that the DFW should not host the title games because they win less than the Houston area?  So, it looks like that BLEW UP IN YOUR FACE!!!!!   The only "HOUSTON" team is Cy-Fair.  If you want to claim regions, that might work out better for you in the long run.  Newton is so far East Texas, you might as well call it Louisiana.  So 1 win for Houston and 2 wins for DFW, looks like we DOUBLED you!!!!!!  When you have a point that is relevant, I might choose to listen. 

All of the applicants are publicly listed, so if you really want to know the finalist, spend some of your own time and visit the board meetings yourself.  Then you will know who showed up to get hired, and you could post that information immediately for notable in the internet community!!! 

CLICKBAIT POS!!!!! That is all these links are in the end and people fall for them and post their own 2 bits when it does not matter even 1/4 of a bit.  Everyone has their own opinion on who should be in that position.  So, instead of posting your thought, tell Mr. Matt to stop posting his F***$$$ non-information and stop being a little snot on his word.  Otherwise, there is always a back door sponsor to make some money on the curiosity of others due to sponsorship.  Why do you think theoldcoach.com went to crap when Matt left.  The clickbait master left so no one is interested anymore.  People want to blame others for ruining someones life, when the finger MIGHT need to be pointed at the person making the decisions in their own life.  We wonder why coaches can't be loyal in today's society, look at the internet and think why they should not trust the community. 

Did more DFW teams win a state title than Houston area teams in 4A and above?  Buc, does the Houston area need some kind of air purifier down there so you will quit huffing the fumes from all of the refineries and chemical plants?  Way to try and make a point that blew up in your face.  If a Houston team is good enough to make the state game, just keep traveling to DFW and try not to make a point that back fires. 

Since or right before 2014, did Crosby get a new Sup?  And remind me again when their Head Coach arrived?

Same with BH.  Have they hired a new Sup since 99?  I know they have hired a couple of Head Coaches that have won a state title else where, but it did not translate to the hill.

I did not watch the game, but it sounds like it was a well fought battle.  BH lost, Crosby won.  Saying that a team did not deserve to win is pretty lame, and that goes the same for saying a team deserved to win.  A game last four quarters, ask the Atlanta Falcons.  If you can not compete all four quarters and get gassed, then you are not a fully developed team.  Get back to work and simply get better in the aspects that cost you valuable district losses while staying good at the ones that have won games that do not matter to making the big show.  I am sure one day BH will be conditioned this season, but it was not on that night.  Congrats Crosby and good luck the rest of the season.  Congrats BH and good luck to you the rest of the season. 

When was the last time BH made it three rounds deep?  Crosby three rounds deep?

Before coming to the Houston area Coach Griffin was at Italy High School.  It is a small 1A high school.  They went 0-10 in either his last or second to last year there.  There was so much trouble they changed offenses 3 times in the first 5 games one year.  They settled with a nasty slot formation that you could run a triple option out of.

So is Gregory Poole going to resort to hiring his buddies now since his big shot turned him down?  I love y'alls taxes!!!!!

Instead of presenting lies on here of if HS took the job or not, why don't we focus on work instead and let the board or district let us know if he took the job or not?  And sorry, I'm collecting money from y'alls taxes so I don't have to worry about work :-).

Was there a coach that got fired last year for winning a girls game with the score of around 100-2?  But yet, they has not been much media put out about this across the state as far as major news stations are concerned?  And that girls coach might not have gotten fired for the win, but he was let go for his actions when the media started proding him for responses over the issue.
