Having coached against Troup this year, they are well balanced.  Their QB is a dangerous weapon and is hard to catch in the open field.  #50 and #34 are their best defensive players.  #34 is their best running back and probably their best all around player.  Their kicker is also a weapon because he can pin you deep.  All I can say is that the good thing is that EC doesn't have to come to Troup, where Dennis Alexander gets what he wants from the officials.  Take it to them EC.  Good Luck to the Bucs and all of my old coaching buddies down there( Coach East, Fontenot, Todd, Leday).
Crazy how that went down when y'all played them......
 2.

It will be Troup.
Okay. Thank you.
Thursday night in Lufkin.
 3.
Wow = I think we play Tatum
Nope, you get pass happy White Oak.
 4. This is what I was think last week when I started the 10-2ADI thread. Don't see it being a five-way tie but it could. Bi-district opponents up North could end up in a four-way tie.... for first. Assuming both Tatum and Troup win this week it would end up as Tatum #1 seed, WO #2 seed and Troup #3 seed.
 5. I know Newton is top dog but what about everything else? District 9 is a mess and it appears that District 10 could have a 3-way tie for 2nd?
 6.
With dropping back into 2A.... K-ville should go a few rounds....should!! :-\
If they make the playoffs.
 7. Curious to see how Tatum plays. This group has knocked off a couple a 4As this year playing with a lot of kids who will be on JV when football is over. I'd say 8-10 of the better basketball players are still in football. Should be good for the young uns.
 8.
I'm starting to wonder if there's a reason why they're not unleashing him.
In a way, they have... Over 600 yards receiving and over 600 rushing. They are just depth at the skill positions, IMO, the difference between them these past two years.
 9.
That's why I said IF he shows up  ;)
Well yea, I saw that.. Hopefully he will fair better than the 16 total yards he had against the Eagles the last time they met up.
 10.
Crockett by 21 if Wheeler shows up. If not then Crockett by a late TD.
Wheeler? He's not even Crockett's biggest threat. Good player though. Numbers are decent. Would expect more from a Rivals250 guy.

 12.
Difference, Crockett wasn't better last year. Better this year. See, that was simple.
After seeing both, I have to disagree. IMO, Crockett is as good as last season(statistically speaking). Tatum is down from last season(statistically speaking). Is that enough to make up the difference from last years debacle? Guess we will find out Friday. Both teams seem to be rolling. Crockett has knocked off a district champ and a district runner up. Tatum has knocked off two district champs and a 3rd place team. The headlines, of course, will focus on the Texas Tech verbal Wheeler and the Texas verbal Overstreet. BOTH teams have more than their 3 star and 4 star recruits. Athletes all over the field.
Okay so since you know that, I guess you also know that they get their OFFICIAL height and weight before they even think about giving them an offer. You honestly think one of the most prestigious college programs in the nation is going to offer a scholarship to a player and guess on his height and weight? No. The number listed in the recruiting database are usual spot on. Unless there is a drastic change between the time they took his weight and now. Which couldnt be that big of a change. Considering he commited on October 31.
The number listed in the database are usually spot on? Really? 3 different databases- 2 different heights and three different weights.. Yup, that's spot on.
 15.
Assistant Principal, Mr. Allen Koch is at Tatum as well as AD Andy Evans. I had forgot about Allen being at Tatum, looks like he got out of coaching into Ass. Principal. Good luck guy's. ;D
I wanna say either 6 or 7 from down there have ended up at here at one point or another. I think.
 16. Random FYI... Out of the 7 seniors that Bullard has, only 3 of them start...

 19.
I do know this for a fact, If Tatum does pull out the win, I know that it will get ugly against Crockett if you meet them!! Crockett handled Newton pretty easy and will probably run away with Tatum. I went to the Newton/Crockett and after seeing both teams play, it won't be close!!
What you think you know for fact is simply an opinion. Crockett is indeed for real but in my own opinion, they were better last year.
