FYI...I was able to get a 2011 7th & 8th football schedule from the athletic office today,and 9 of the 12 games will be on either Tues or Thurs and in that Aug-Oct time frame,so that is gonna make it very difficult for the boys that play Jr. High football to participate in fall ball also...just thought this info would be helpful for those who have a baseball/football player to deal with...lol

Yea,I knew about the morning football practices,but I'm just worried about game times conflicting on Thursdays,I talked with some people that said last years fall ball season was over before the boys started playing any football games....O'well, we'll just have to make it work........ :-\

I'll start off by saying this,I don't have a dog in the fight,because we no longer live in the district,but being a former WO-S baseball player,I still try to keep up with Mustang baseball....I had the pleasure of being coached by Anderson,Nichols,Windham,and Ragsdale,and all though these men may have used some language that would've upset some momas, I was able to learn a great deal about baseball and about everyday life from these men,and now because of that I've been able to pass the things I learned on to my baseball and softball players......I know J.Riojas,and think the world of him,and would like to wish him Good Luck,and say congrats to Coach Landry!!!!WO-S will be O.K.,I also know some of the future Mustangs,and there is definately alot of baseball talent coming Landry's way.......

still hearing different stories on the injury,maybe someone that was there,could shed some light,but I hope he gets back on his feet,and back on the field soon...prayers are going up...
