Who cares about Coldspring vs anybody. It's the same ol thing week after week. "Coldspring by as many as they want", Nobody in the district is going to beat Coldspring, Everyone else in the district are just a bunch of losers. Really???? When the GAME no longer is a competition there is no fun in watching it. Coldspring can continue to blow thier own horn and yes they will make it to the playoffs, but when they do I think they will or should be humbled by the butt kickins they are going to receive. Enough said. Good luck and have a safe game to all those playing this Friday night and those after.

Would love to see Huffman beat Coldspring! I know it won't happen but they need the chip on their shoulder knocked off! The ppl from Coldspring always run everyone down. They never have anything positive to say about any other team in the district. They need to remember they are are all kids and work hard and nobody likes to lose! [b]WAS[/b] proud to see Coldspring make it to playoffs and likely go on to state because they are from the 22-3A district, but ashamed of the comments and hatefulness they display. Hope they are humbled as they move forward in playoffs and state confrence.

Everyone in the district knows Coldsprings is good....and hopefully will win state this year. Think it's sad that they feel the need to run down all the other teams in the 22-3A district like the kids don't work hard and play hard. It's very easy to be so critical of others when you are on the top but everyone knows that eventually everyone falls. Think they are a great team and would like them and thier supporters to make the 22-3 A district proud by being leaders and remembering that it's never fun to work your butt off and lose. Good luck to Coldspring Friday night and all those that follow. -
Yea Cleveland won....refs did an excellant job for them! Blue the whistle all the players stop...on both teams...except QB...throws a long pass and cleveland scored....refs let it go....that was TOTAL BS!!! May not have changed the outcome but sure hurt Shepherds spirit. They made several other bad calls. Guess thats how it goes tho..... -
My vote goes to Coldspring!!! They are hungry..never made it this far in the playoffs and deserve a shot at the state title. GO Coldspring!! The whole 22-3A district is rooting for you!

Playing at Pirate Stadium Friday night, Who wins this one? -
I have to agree with that Pantha. Believe ALL teams have players that are good enough to make all district. Not just the winning teams. There are individual players from every team in the district that are good and hope that when the coaches are desiding who to choose they keep that in mind. -
Think Whittleman, Shaw and Courvelle from Shepherd should be in there somewhere. -

Shepherd lost this one. Have to say that both teams played a good game and showed good sportsmanship. Game was tied at the end of the 4th and went into overtime....Liberty came out on top. Good job by both teams .....as in any game somebody has to lose.

Want to make a few comments about the Coldspring / Shepherd game. First thing is Coldspring is a very good football team and I will give them that. However, they showed no class by placing a large banner on their bonfire pile that read, "Shepherd Sucks". All of the parents, grandparents and younger siblings of the Shepherd Junior High and JV teams viewed this as the pulled into the Coldspring stadium. Then the vidieo of thier pep rally was worse. Shepherd may not be the greatest team in the district this year but they do have class. When Coldspring came to the Pirate Stadium they were met by signs in tribute to Coach Barbay's father as well as the entire team meeting them in the middle of our field for a moment of silence also in his honor. So yes Coldspring did when the game in points but Shepherd was far above in class.
