Trojans played a shut out second half! And the defense was on point. Made some great adjustments at the half the the offense rolled as well. Contavious Hardin had 4td’s and 124 yards rushing for a total of 352 on the season.

3 coaches in 4 years make it hard to be completive, but i feel this is the year Coldspring takes it back from the cross county rival..

Coldspring Hemphill canceled as of Tuesday night

Coldspring looked bad, o line not firing off the ball and defense didn’t do a good job containing the run to the inside. I think when it it comes to district play the Trojans will be fine, it was a wake up call for the boys. HJ this Week, let’s hope the nerves will settle

Coldspring by as many as they want!! It was a battle between AS and CH, and Coldspring blew AS away both games this year

Running backs looked good for Coldspring. O-line was weak for the Trojans. I left early so I don’t know what the full quarter looked like.

Coldspring coming off the loss to Shepherd last week and Liberty got by Cleveland by the shin if their teeth. Liberty won this match up last year, Who do you have in this one?

Kickoff to this game will be at 7pm Not 7:30.. All Trojans home games will be at 7 this season

I am Confident they will finish the 2 spot. while I pointed out their troubles they will face this year, Coach Byrd does a great job at putting the kids where they need to be. I don't think beating Woodville is going to be an option again this year but will beat Buna at home this year.

Coldspring losing Taylor is rough but they have the flusher kid who carried the ball as well. He has a lot of speed and is a north and south runner. Defense is where we are taking the big hit. losing our Lb core as well as the secondary is going to hurt the Trojans.

I agree with you on this, and feel Friday night will be no different, I just hope they don't take a beating like they did last year against Atlanta.

Coldspring had a 3-3 record against the Cougars going into this game. The last match up was 2 years ago and the Trojans ran through the Cougars then, And this was 3A football not 5 A

Coldspring played the best game I have seen them play in 2 years. All 3 phases clicked last night, I feel next week will not be as good for the Trojans,

Talked to Coach Robinson from Shepherd and they are banged up after the Bellville game last week. I look for this to be a solid game tonight, I wish both teams were healthy for this first round matchup. I am going to pick Shepherd with a 2 score win .. I feel these kids will play at a level they haven't played before. The community support they have will help carry the Pirates on to the next round.. Good luck to both teams and I pray its a clean game all night long

I think the CS Buna game will be a good game in a couple weeks, but it will come down to CS and WV for district.. I still feel WV will take it this year.

TrojanMoJo, To what you posted above and no disrespect to you, I am a die hard Trojan fan. You speak of the tough schedule we had and the amount of pre district losses we had. Lets start with Hardin Jefferson: 1:20 seconds into the game and HJ had 6 on the board, Lightening stopped the rest of the game. Shepherd Game: We had a 30 point lead going into the 2nd half of the game and Defense couldn't stop the worst JV squad out there. O line didn't block and the Trojans couldn't move the ball at all. Liberty: 3 scores in 1:10 seconds in the first half. All 3 scores were due to special teams. Offense didn't move the ball and Defense... Well I wonder if they even showed up. Not taking anything away from The Panthers of Liberty because this is the football team that the Liberty faithful has been talking about for the past 5 years that final showed u[. Crockett: The first game Coldspring had some defense show up and a little offense. I feel that was the first game that CS really played. This comes do to some adjustments Coach Byrd made in the off week. Warren: Well we wont talk about that game. Kirbville: Taylor #22 had the game of a life time for a total of just over 300 yards rushing. He wouldn't have been able to do that except he was able to get out on the seem and go north and south. Byrd changed up the play calling a bunch do to the fact the O line is very young and week. Defense did play physical last week as well. I say all of that to say this. I feel Woodville will when the district and will beat CS by at least 2 scores.

Splendora will lose this one. Porter is riding the high that they have been on and will fall short to New Caney in a couple weeks.

Going to be a tough game for both teams, The Trojans are going to have to get the o-line in check if they want to compete. You cant take a 60-0 over warren and predict a season that you are half way through. Coldspring has struggled this year really finishing games. Shepherd 30 un answered points in the second half. Cs scores 21 points against a good liberty team in a total of 1:10 seconds and it was all special teams that did that. Crocket finished the game that Cs really never got started. I am a Trojan faithful my son is a starter, but will have to take Kirbyville in this one by a score
