You're calling Burkville football?.. I'd rather watch chickens lay eggs all day than watch a scrimmage involving either of those teams.
What team do you like to watch?
 2. I cant wait , I'll be there and with Nederland being as stacked as they are this will help season the young Broncos some!  8)

Summer Creek 2. Barbers Hill 3. Crosby 4. Dayton 5. Kingwood Park ::) ::)
BH over Crosby? :o
It says they're Denny is supposed to join O'Neal for his 4th year as a starter in BH's ''high powered offense''. Very disrespectful. I guess BH has somebody on the Chronicle staff too?
;D ;D
HD is going to catch San Augustine 1st round.  It will be a close game...  If HD wins, they will win one more after that.  Train stops at Mart.  Either way.. this is HD's last chance at a playoff win.....maybe ever. Finney and his entire staff are looking for jobs starting week after Thanksgiving. Enjoy the season guys. By the way... Moseley cant play, and the Yates kid is at Hardin Jefferson.
Why cant Mosley play?

Trying to speak another language? lol ;D
its the team that's beat bh 4 out of the last 5 years. This might help jog your memory. 54-0.
Last year by a busted play and our QB out. The year before , we were district champs and beat the ponies. The future looks bright at BH, can Dayton say the same? There are some good years on the way for The Hill ;) I don't remember that score you speak of since I wasn't here. ;D
Dayton future looks bright too buddy! This years team is very young and I think they're going to do great...we will see!  ;)

 11.
I would of thought they would of been ranked higher.... I mean after all they do have DChatmen running the ball for them... 12.
So where is everybody going for their first scrimmage of the season?   Obviously I will be at Bronco Stadium tomorrow at 7 to see Dayton scrimmage Friendswood.  ;D
I'll be there too!
MY ISSUE EXACTLY! Magnolia West? Please, they do have some size due to their enrollment but we scrimmaged them last year and while we wouldn't have beaten them like we did Willis it would have been pretty bad. So Johnson did transfer to Navasota?
[Hidden Content] It looks like its true
 15.
Dayton #6?  Really?  Clueless.
I know they should've been higher huh?  ;D
 16. You're right since they beat Dayton in bi-district.
 17.

We also have 2 district titles in that span and should have 3 of the last 6 district titles had Flannigan not lost a 10 pt lead with less than 3mins to go and the ball inside the opponents redzone. I know you remember that year. BH was 9-0, the Eagle faithful voted 47 times apiece to make it the game of the week, set a then attendance record, had '' 3 running backs with over 600 yards'' and I was an ''idiot'' for thinking we could stop the dive play. . . . . Then the Twins got off the bus and gave y'all the first of 3 consecutive lessons on how to run a real option. The next week Ozen put 40  on you in your own house. How did that district title work out for you? 8)
Guess you're assuming Crosby, and the twins, will dance through BH again in 2013, cause the twins have only stepped off the bus twice that we remember ...Seasons of 2011 and 2012.  2010, at Crosby,  with your outstanding QB, you got upset by a young Eagle team.  And, there's no doubt about it, the twins are very successful HS football players.
You got it! Austin ran for 258 on 17 carries last year and that's with a 60 yarder called back. He has almost 400 rushing yards in two games against BH. I'm expecting another 200+ yard performance when we open district play in Mont Belvieu. We open district with BH, Dayton, and SC so I'm not sure how much Roirdan will work Austin but you can expect to start 0-1 in district again this year.  :)
Then shortly after that it will be a 1-2 record!  ;D

 20.
I think the Bobcats will have a great season this fall. They return too much talent to not succeed. Coach Finney has these kids believing they will win every game they play. Regular season will be a good test for HD. The only true cupcake on last year's schedule (Galveston O'Connell) was replaced with Halletsville Sacred Heart. This should be a solid test as they are coming off back to back state championship game appearances including the title in 2011. Hardin, Lovelady, and Normangee will be improved from last season. Groveton will be a tough game especially playing on the Indians home turf. They should be better than last season as well and will have good speed at the skill positions. Easily the two toughest games on the sked this season will be 2A foes Deweyville and Kountze. The Pirates return alot of talent and have a new coach who has turned the program around similar to what Finney has done at HD. The Pirates won't reap the benefit of four extra possessions (onside kicks) or homefield advantage this year. I thought DV was the better team last year, but not by the margin of victory that they won by. This season's game will be a great battle and I could see it going either way. The Kountze Lions are the team that will really be the toughest challenge to the Bobcats. Not knocking either school's kids, but I think Kountze has more talent than DV, but the Pirates are more physical and play harder. If the Lions show up and get up early, it will be over by halftime. If HD plays their smashmouth brand of ball, physical defense, and contains the big play, the Bobcats will win. HD will again sweep their monsterous district (all three teams) with Iola and Colmesneil being tough challenges. I see HD going anywhere from 7-3 to 10-0. Barring injuries, my honest prediction is that HD goes 9-1 in the regular season. Their 3 losses last year were to Kountze, DV, and Groveton. HD dominated Groveton (350 total yards to 130) but didn't get the win. That changes this season. For some reason I believe that HD splits with Deweyville and Kountze. I don't know which game they win, and which one they lose, but it will be tough to pull out both those victories. All three of those games will be closley contested games and the team with the will to win in the 4th quarter will win. I don't see a blowout in either teams favor in any of these games. If HD wins the district, they should get the 2nd place team from District 10. This will most likely be West Sabine or San Augustine (if they get past D-9 3rd place team in round 1). Alto and Mart will win their districts and both end up on the bottom side of the playoff bracket. I see HD beating West Sabine in the 2nd round before advancing to face Joaquin or Bosqueville in the 3rd round. HD pulls out the win and faces the winner of Mart and Alto in the regional final. Hopefully whoever wins that game between the 'Jackets and Panthers will be all beat up! Just my .02 cents which doesnt' mean much, but that's how I feel. Good luck to Hull-Daisetta and all the teams in the area.
I just seen where Sacred Heart is ranked #3 in Tapps this year, looks like HD will have some good games to prepare them for the playoffs.
