The score is correct. Deweyville won 76 - 74.

The post play wont be as good as when bland was there, but it wont be non existant. They have a decent player in Estes. He was rusty tuesday night after having only one practice. And as far as guard, Seth Williams did a good job getting the ball down the court.

I dont believe that was the score. I watched the scrimmage and it was closer than that.Orangefield won the scrimmage but it was more like 60 to 80. That was the first time those boys have played together this year. Deweyville has had one practice with the football boys. When they shook off the cobwebs they really started to look good.

LOL!  First he would have had too go out the gates.  Second, we were not around the consession stand.  There were 2 boys there maybe the other 1 was not a football player who knows.  All I can say Logerhead did more to fire up our boys then anything we could have said to them!    SO THANK YOU LOGERHEAD!!  JOB WELL DONE!!!  WOW!!  OOHHH!  I forgot!  Thanks logerhead for leaving enough fuel behind to burn the Pirates Ship!!  Cougars are sharpening their claws as we speak!

Marc Esway will dominate the 100meter this year in 24-2A..His first meet last night in a 3A and 4A meet he placed 2nd...too much strength for a small 2A district to hold...made it to state last year and well on his way again

I disagree Buna will be in second if not first without Justin Williams there aint no pirates.

Actually BlOO I think deweyville has a back that is very capable of taking off where justin williams left off.Stephen Gibson#24 will be a senior next season, he is very strong runner.Also expect sophomore keeton addison to be getting some runs.He probably would have stayed on varsity all year as a freshman,except he broke his leg the first game of the season.So all in all Deweyville will have another explosive backfield this coming up season.And im picking Deweyville and Eastchambers Fighting for first,And Warren third.

They lost there starting qb and its all been downhill since then.

Expect Carthage to comeback next year and be a heck of a football team. Very good coach that is at carthage right now, in my opinion Mike Bickham is one of the best coaches around.

This should be fairly good game until late. Deweyville has the conditioning that should be the difference. Plus deweyville has no quit in them.
