I don't think a good argument can be made that 2013 is a better offense than 2017 largely due to 2013's overreliance on the run and lack of efficient scoring. I think the numbers bear out that we have been extremely efficient in scoring and have maintained a much better run/pass balance which makes the current team harder to gameplan for and overall better. EDIT beyond this point: Given we do not have good Defensive/Special Teams Stats yard efficiency seems to be the closest rating we can get to understanding the total teams make up. A Good defense gives you good field position, a good special teams unit gives you good field position and thus allows your offense to be more efficient. The Total Yards per TD shows me that Crosby gets the ball in good field position and scores often.

If we get the PNG v. Crosby game I feel we should call it Bedlam, because it would be absolute Bedlam that the best two teams from 21 and 22 5a play each other in the first round.

In a Stunner, the Nederland Bulldogs run the football in on a QB Draw from the 15-yard line and score with less than 5 seconds to play! Nederland Kicks the ball on a squib but too hard picked up by PNG and PNG returns the ball all the way to the 2 yard line but a penalty flag has been thrown. A Late hit out of bounds! PNG lines up with a power QB run and gets stuffed on the half-inch mark! Nederland wins, Nederland wins, Nederland wins! Sorry wrote my Saturday mourning press release instead of the headline.

Kingwood Park @ Humble - IN KWP Win and BH Lose OUT All other scenarios Barbers Hill @ Porter - IN BH Win BH Lose and KWP Lose OUT BH Lose and KWP win New Caney @ Crosby - CO-CHAMPS if New Caney Wins. (That's how 21-5a works.) #1 DIV2 Seed up for Grabs if Kingwood Park makes the playoffs. Crosby Outright Champs and DIV2 #1 with a win. Both teams will be #1 seeds if BH makes playoffs. NC being #1 seed in DIV1, Crosby in DIV2.

Conversely what if we get to half its a good game but we look over and BH is beating Porter by 28 and we go well now this game doesn't matter at all.

I think Crosby and PNG are extremely similar teams. Both lack defensive consistency but make some big plays. Both have extremely good offenses (Statistically Crosby is a bit better than PNG on offense.) I think if PNG and Crosby played tomorrow I'd set a line at Crosby +3 on a neutral field. (My homer says we'd win by 10 but I think 3 would be a betting line.)

The question is craigs avaliability in my opinion. If this game doesn’t effect playoff seed i expect a large dose of solis this week and thats gonna be pretty brutal on NC lb core because that kid is a bttering ram. I don’t think NC has an answer for the passing game if Woodard is back i predict our offense will move it well even if craig isn’t in the game.

Here is a tell tale sign that this person hasn’t seen this offense. This is by far the most explosive and consistent offense crosby has had at least since 04. The defense is not very good but this notion that this offense is “down” is possibly the dumbest statement made on these boards this year.

Watch us be like Dallas Highland Park forever and skirt the line by 1 for 2-3 realignments. *cross fingers* please let d1 be 1781.

both very deserving of consideration. Craig is incredible the best hs running back I've gotten to see play consistently and that's saying something because I've seen some good RB's.

After how we played this week no ones a bye... not even if we got PNG in the first round.

Don't get cocky yall have played a good game so far. Lots of time and a talented opponent. They don't make mistakes in the second half and this might be a long night.

Having watched some PNG stuff. Gosh i hope we play that team at some point in the playoffs. It'd be a bad 1st round opponent to get for both teams. Just watching how that Central QB could carve up that secondary. I'd love to see what CPAT/Woodard/Smith and Howard would do. Also the QB from PNG versus Craig would be something else to watch. The anything you can do I can do better would be amazing.

So your buying the KWP + Porter over the Hill. I guess we will find out

My understanding is they are the third smallest after Ball and TC (this might be speculative based on growth tho.)

If this holds i thinkt the aecond rouns will have two of each. Crosby, New Caney, PNG, PAM in second rounds.
