This was a classic trap game for BH and boy was it a trap game.

I'd imagine so but you'd also think a kid wouldn't make that move unless they believed they had a solid case for the UIL, I have seen it occur when they could prove they were closing on a house before the season started. To be fair I've seen that 3 times. All three situations were Rental -> purchase that started before season but for reasons took a long period to finalize. Not sure what this kids situation actually was but baselessly making claims of recruiting seems to be outside the interest of everyone involved. The only person that gets hurt by the UIL is the kid.

PAM will run away and hide with this district. Crosby is simply terrible at the line of scrimmage. We will be outplayed there every game. Young backs don’t pick up the blitz and it’s going to be a year of watching a solid QB getting absolutely annihilated by the blitz. too many problems to fix. PAM wins by 28+ in this one.

Crosby O-Line might be the worst in a generation or two. I mean just abysmal, I know cougar08 is just dying inside right now watching this O-Line

Crosby is playing poorly consistently, that’s the sign that your not a very good football team. one bad game sure, when you get to game 5 and you still cannot put it together then you just might not be very good.

Let me see what Cougars do tonight. I mean if Porter can hold pam to 18? I think we have a better defense than Porter... but offensively we don't look like we can win a shootout with PAM. Think it'll be a close one regardless of who wins. I'll predict once Friday night is over.

If PNG can cover that slot wide receiver and handle the trenches I think they win.

It's time for the offense to wake up and get on the same page. That offensive line likely got embarrassed yesterday in film session. But it's all the way around, misthrows, drops, not seeing the hole, poor blocking, bad decision making (on run and pass plays) add Poor kicking to the mix and we lose to our cross-town rival by 1. If that cannot motivate the Cougars then nothing will. It's time to put up or shut up for this offense. That being said I think we win this one, by how much will likely be a question for the offense. The defense will make sure this one stays simple and likely will help the offense but the offense needs to figure it out. 0 games this year they have looked good.

Congrats to Bh won a great game! Crosby needs to fix this offense. It's not sufficient for them to do what they want to do. Defense played their butts off, but if your offense punts every 3 plays every high school teams will eventually score.

When at BH you just expect a few of those. It's like |PNG before the dissolved the east texas chapter.

Seems like Abseck thought they'd be able to throw it on Crosby so far, not so much. 7-7. Crosby needs to clean up the offense. O-line play has been the worst this year.

TBF Crosby and BH didn't play for 36 years. So i agree if the year was 1930-70 I'd pick those Eagles.
