Figured folks west of the Trinity and east of the Neches would know the difference. ;) ::)
HAHAHA its the ole Rope A Dope move where now he will start pointing fingers at everyone else to make up for his shortcomings.... HAHAHAHA Typical Aggie... hahahah

Made the state title game last year and return 10 off., 10 def. starters from last season.
With that said why didn't they come out #1?
Not sure. I would have them #1. AP does combine the two divisions in their polls instead of separating them like DCTF and Old Coach.
So realistically Mart is #1 1A Div 1 and Teneha is #1 1A Div 2?

My son says I'm stupid because he doesn't have to be there until around 4. Is this weird.
I think it is weird... Why are you getting there so late?? I mean Vidor Scrimmages at 6pm this evening... I was here @ 7am... had to bribe the janitor to unlock the gate so I could get a good seat in the OF visitors stands... You know have to beat the rush and all... ;-D

 7. sounds like both teams still need some work... I am sure getting the new Offense down for Lumberton was 1 of the reasons they struggled... "A team with a big, athletic offensive line would give these two teams some problems." "Lumberton OL has decent size, but not athletic." This doesn't bode well for Lumberton in 20-4A...

Some of them moving down were 2nd teamers also... I think they will get some work in both scrimmages..
Cool. I was told that by Finney also, then folks started reporting different stuff. Will be good work for HD.
Don't know if i will make yalls scrimmage but I will for sure be there for 6 for our Varsity if you want to hang around talk football. If you do let me know I will PM you my cell ...

President's Proclamation for National Airborne Day, Aug. 16 National Guard Bureau WASHINGTON, Aug. 9, 2001 – Sixty-one years ago, 48 brave volunteer members of the U.S. Army Parachute Test Platoon pioneered a new method of warfare. Their successful jump led to the creation of a mighty force of more than 100,000 paratroopers. Members of this force were assigned to the legendary 11th, 13th, 17th, 82d and 101st Airborne Divisions and numerous other units that fought in every theater during World War II. The soldiers of the Parachute Test Platoon also forged a unique warrior spirit, a relentless passion for victory, and a reputation that still strikes fear in potential adversaries. Beginning with the first combat jump by the men of the 2d Battalion, 503d Parachute Infantry Regiment, over North Africa in November 1942, airborne and special operations soldiers have made a total of 93 combat jumps. Since World War II, paratroopers have continually distinguished themselves in battle, earning 69 Congressional Medals of Honor and hundreds of other awards for valor. Today, as we celebrate the anniversary of the first official Army parachute jump, I join all Americans in recognizing these heroes. We salute our Nation's sky troopers, both past and present, for their great service and personal sacrifice in the defense of freedom and liberty around the world. Best wishes to all for a memorable observance. GEORGE W. BUSH
I didnt see that one... Or I would have.... So being you did I don't have to... Thanks for sharing....
Just got word from HD AD/HC Josh Finney. HD will be scrimmaging Vidor's JV and some Varsity kids that Vidor's HC wants to get a good look at. Either way a good test for the HD Bobcats, as they work to built a 1A State contender this season.
Why is it in Orangefield?
Beaumont Legacy canceled. Orangefield is scrimmaging Vidor, we just jumped in to get some work against some talent. I'm sure HD's Coach Huckaby helped scramble HD an opponent to scrimmage. So HD gets Vidor's JV and some Varsity backups. Coach Huckaby was the former AD/HC at Orangefield.
I think its a WIN/WIN situation for both squads.... gives both teams some time against a solid group...
. . . And they would fall out right after the first game of the season. I think we're going to make it 3-1 against Ned our last four meetings. It was our first game with a first time head coach and no spring ball in Nederland. I think we're going to knock off the 20-4a district champs week one and sweep the bi-district in round one.
I am sure it will be a juggernaut of a game... I am not sure if your prediction is dead center... but that's why we play the game!... Good Luck to the Cougs...
