I just saw the spring schedule for Blinn and they open up with Angelina on January 30th.  Should be a good one for both teams to start off the season.

Congrats Harvey, ( great guy and great coach).  He also loves recruiting the golden triangle area.

That he does. Luther Sanders and Broc Haymon are two that I know of from Bridge city.

Broc Haymon (Bridge City 06) will be playing at Blinn next year.

If I had to guess, I would say that left center at Jasper is around 370 or so and Dishons first homerun went WELL over that.

Do they have them seperated by 3A -4A-5A, or are they all lumped together?

I wanna say its 1A, 2A, and 3A all against each other in a game and then its 4A and 5A against each other.  I could be totally off here.

Thats gonna be a big role for Hicks, but having seen him play he is very very capable of keeping BC in the ball game tomorrow.  Too many runners left on base today.  Need to at least but the ball in play and make the defense make the plays.  Good Luck to both teams tomorrow.

Morgan, you have no idea what your talking about.  Anything can happen in baseball, and it has been proven all year throughout this district as well as the entire state.  I have heard of someone throwing back to back to back no hitters somewhere this year.  Now if you wanna talk about him shutting the Dogs out through 4 innings, then yes he did.  But if you noticed, some of the guys were swinging the bat pretty well against him, and in baseball anything can happen.

Geez, why dont you settle down a little here.  He was just making an observation that the guy from Trinity was throwing a good game until he was pulled.  Its just a warm up game so lets not get to steamed about things.

Don't know about the beaumont enterprise, but I have never been to High Island either....

Get used to it.... High Island has yet to be mentioned .... on TV or the newspaper.   But that is OK.... maybe Houston will cover us.... heck we can't even get KFDM down here....and maybe we should just stop buying the Enterprise and only read the Galveston County News.  But we do appreciate our coverage in the HOMETOWN PRESS, BEACH TRITON and Neighborhood Net.   We have fans somewhere!

Hats off to the Jasper Bulldogs.  They played a helluva game.  I'm glad I went out to watch this one.  Again, congrats Bulldogs and the best of luck to you and BC. Now lets go do some damage in the playoffs!

Its now at 8 due to the Regional Track Meet today as well.

Take Hwy 87 toward Port Arthur, continue on 87 / 73 over the Memorial Bridge to Bridge City.

Once in Bridge City you will pass the main intersection at Roundbunch, continue straight.

You will turn to the right next to a Chicken food stand alittle past the Sonic Drive in. I am not sure of the street name though.

The ball field will be up that road alittle on the left.

The chicken food place is no longer there.  Its now a dominos.  So take a right next to dominos (osborne is the name of the street) and the field will be down on the left.

One might forget that the fans you might be talking about are in HS and could be friends with the baseball team.

Silsbee stays in the hunt for a playoff spot!!

Silsbee has 7 runs on 6 hits with no errors!

OF has no runs on 4 hits with 4 errors!

McDonald does a great job allowing 4 hits with 11 strikeouts!

Calhoun was 1-2 with 2 walks and a 2 run HR, Kelly was 2-2 with a sac bunt and 1 rbi, Moss was 2-4 with 3 rbi's and Hargrave was 1-3.
