How much has Orangefield practiced? LCM should have a full Week of practice this week for the second week. My main concern is the center snapping the ball to the Qb has to be corrected we gave 7 to 10 yards on every bad snap. Imo cost us the game against Woodville and it stalled out drives putting our defense on the field way to long. Maybe we can cut down on the 15 bubble screens. I'm hoping for a Bear win.

Sorry man didn't mean to offend you. I think WOS has won many games without a good kicker on the team though. Just kidding. On a serious note with this storm setting us back our kids need to find a way to win. Our fans that are in the stands are not in the game and if feels that they except losing. I just read the football roster again it has 41. I was off one. Now I didn't count the actual players on the field. Also If I was going to count Coaches Burnet would be the only one I would count.

He also said y'all were the " Warriors" and edited it lol. Y'all had around 39 players suited up and we had 42.

We were in the spread. Like I said before there were questionable play calling. Winters ran the ball for 97 yards. Qb threw for 140 are so. But we can't throw a bubble screen with a min left in the game to try to come back smh. We needed to get vertical. Woodville had problems coving our receivers most of the night

Play calling was a problem. But overall the kids needed more practice. Their bad snaps and poor tackling and conditioning was a factor. I agree we need a coach that can run the spread offense. We haven't ran it well since Coach Bolton was the OC

Well we haven't practiced much. We had bad snaps, penalties, and did not tackle well. Woodville ran the ball down our throats and our kids probably have been gutting their houses out from the flood instead of working out so they started cramping up in the 4th quarter. My honest opinion is this, if we played the first two weeks and practiced we would have beat Woodville. We had more talent on our sideline. That was not the case, though because Harvey had other plans. I'll say this, their coach is good. Our play calling was questionable. Furthermore don't you keep up with WOS? I bet you didn't even play football for WOS, and I bet don't you don't even live in their school district. Why don't you just stay on the stang trail and live off their victories.

If we would not have had a hurricane and played the first 2 weeks against jasper and WOS you would have seen a different team. We are behind the curve and hopefully we will be ready for district. I will say this about Woodville the running backs run down hill and Y'all have a good team.

Winters is good but Douglas imo is just as good as him. He will start at linebacker an will get some carries. Douglas was defensive player of the year in 2016. He's a down hill runner and is hard to bring down. Winters and Douglas go both ways for us. Katon Brown was our leading receiver he has good hands and 1st team all district in 2016. I honestly think you will see two different Qb's in this game. Since we have never played Woodville in football I think it will be interesting. I think defense will still struggle against the run so I would think it could be a shootout

It's hard to give a prediction because honestly I don't know if we will have all our starters back due to flooded homes. I can tell you Coldspring was no match for us in the scrimmage and newton wore us out. I heard it was raining that scrimmage and we had abundance of turnovers. Newton dominated Silsbee last night so that tells me Newton has a good squad. I just hope for a good game with no injures.

How many players do y'all have going both ways?

I was really not surprised by Jasper being so close in this game. I was surprised by the turnovers.
