You have a good point, and HF is open enrollment they might get some transfers.

Nelson is 21-31 as a head coach in 5 years. HF the last 5 years are 19-32. I don't see much difference, and on the bright side he would be the AD.

Since baseball season started I was looking through some records and since 1972-2018 the Bears are 845-491-2 which imo is a good record, and by far better than our overall football record. So I want to say thanks to the coaching staff that produced good baseball seasons in the past.
