  1. Been looking forward to this weekend. You can through the records out the window..they really dont mean a thing! Playing in the tournament last year we seen alot of our kids and kids from other teams really turn it on.

There is going to be some tough games as the day goes on and I am sure sitting to watch an hour of any of these flag games is gonna be just as tense as the rest. The future looks bright for alot of these teams and kids.

    Good Luck..............
  2. Too many Turnovers to compete in this district.

yeah ned, PNG had no turnovers, no matter what anyone from ned .,says we had to beat the refs also during this game. I would like for Faircloth to get the step on the throat menality we had 10 points there in the last 7 minutes and didnt do it

I've read this from you every week?  You're playing at home every week and getting hosed by the refs EVERY WEEK?  You need to checkin with reality every now and again.

Maybe Faircloth should step on your throat! What I, along with our community would like is for you shutup 99.9% of the time!

  3. ok weasal your flag teams score is on here png purple-25  ned. white-0 & you have posted that png flag purple is  4 & 0.what else is there?the purple mohawks were nice,& your kid is awesome? ;D ;):D:) 8) ::):( :-* :-\ :-X :-[ :'( :P

The mohawks were a little much, but hey we told the boys it was going to be a fun day nothing real serious!! Looking at the score you can see our predictions were dead on, lol The entire week was full of suprises.....nothing like good ole PNG and Ned rivalry!!!

  4. I had a good talk with DL after the game. He is a lifelong friend and  I am also a coach for PNGYFA. Personally, I wish people associated with our league WOULD NOT get on this site and run their mouths about YOUTH FOOTBALL, especially if you are on the sidelines and involved in the game. I can assure you that DL made no excuses for the loss on Saturday other than that you guys are better at this point. Please don't let the one OUTSPOKEN person on these boards influence your feelings toward our association. We definitely took our lumps as a whole last weekend. We will get it straightened out. Good luck to all of you over in Lumberton. You have some strong teams top to bottom.

I don’t know DL well, but we’ve had several games over the past couple of years and know he wouldn’t think I’m

accusing him of anything. He’s always been a standup guy that takes his losses just like he takes his

wins… A smile a firm handshake and “Good Game†is what you get and believe me I’ve been on both ends

    several times.

There are some on this site that can’t keep their opinions to themselves, but we wouldn’t hold that against DL or PNG. Good luck to you and with any luck we hope to see you weeks 9 – 11  :)

Same here in WO-S. DL gets tons of respect as a person and a coach from this organization.

well said!! DL has been a mentor and coach to me growing up and As an adult and youth sports coach myself am still amazed and look up to him. He is perfect example of what PNG is about! It would be nice if he would either adopt about a 7 yr old or go back to PNGISD someday. I am pretty sure NewIndian will get an ear full! It's very aggravating to hear of one of our volunteers on here mis representing what we stand for........but that's why the name is NewIndian........cause he don't know what we stand for.

So NewIndian.......let's seperate the men from the boys!!! Give that chain to one of the qualified and mature 13 yr olds, go home and put your red shirt back on, build your playbook from playstation video games, and shut your pie hole........your only embarrassing yourself and unfortunately your son! In my opinion I hope the PNGYFA considers removing you from our sidelines!!

  5. I gotta jump in here and comment on this Cocky comment.

Trying not to stir anything up, but any group of HS boys with a brand new coaching staff, playbook, season, fancy stadium, etc..... Would step out on that field no different than how our boys did! Although throughout the game we all seen alot of mistakes and room for improvements, the NDNs came out confident and ready to display the hard work that has been put in for months and months. Not being "COCKY" but when your on that visitors side and are disturbed by our conduct.........look up at the home side press box " HONOR, PRIDE, and TRADITION" that's what we live and play by! And until you are part of that in anyway you will always be offended or let's say......jealous of our Indian Pride!!

I think Barbers Hill brought a game that no one was expecting! The first QTR on both sides of the ball s than par. Thanks to our secondary the aggressive pass coverage kept our momentum going. The "hogs" on both Off and Def need to step it up. Doty had too much pressure and we all seen it with some of the ducks he put in the air. And as far as the running game we definately have the talent but again the line needs to pick up their assignments and get those lanes open.

It was a close game and I think both sides have a bright season ahead of them! Good Luck BH!
