i dont know that OF will win by "ALOT" but the do win by atleast 2 possessions...

so you're blaming it on this one kid that "coulda" had a TD? there were 13 points on silsbee... the WOS defense coulda held them to 0 and won... or 7 and went to OT... so dont be tossing blame just towards one guy on the field, last time i checked there are 11 on each side of the ball... not 1

well atleast if you go for them to make the playoffs and they dont you can sit back and relax while Coop goes through the District making excuses for each game on why they didn't make it...

now dont get me wrong... im not saying that WOS is definatly going or they aren't.... but WOS WILL BE a battle for BC, and they WILL BE a battle to OF!!! but would i bet that they get 2nd place??? no. people thought i was dumb for saying they were going to get beat by Silsbee!! and look what happen! silsbee will more than likely win district this year, but that doesn't mean it'll be a cake walk!! dont underestimate BC OR OF, if you do then you'll regret it at the end of the night...

we got beat by a superior team, but check out my previous posts i can admit there is a huge problem in mustang land.... dont worry though 33 your beating is coming next friday, its all downhill from here for bc! well, just keep this in mind... we're getting better and WOS isn't... supposedly BC hasn't had hard enough of a schedule and supposedly HJ did? but we beat HJ, so does BC have the respect of a dangerous team yet?

i think you missed coop he was here earlier. awww man... i was hoping read some of the excuses for this one... could only have been better than the ones he made up for the lost to Jasper... i guess i have to go hunting through 20 pages! :'( lol

wos is improving weekly as well! the cats should have nice stats with the competition theyve played! they actually played two decent teams and lost to both of them. good luck! lol you know what??? you are worse when it comes to WOS than Coop is!!! i cant wait till you have nothing to say after a couple defeats in district this year!!

Hawks have a greater wing span that a cardinal... i say the water collects on them more and the hawks take a nose dive into the ground!!! Cards by 2 TDs!! ;) ;D

BC does something similar... they start practice 10-15 minutes after tutorials would end so kids have time to get in for extra help (but dont walk them to it... you'd think being in highschool you'd have enough responsibility to do so yourself) they also do the weekly grade reports to make sure the players are passing and if their not then use your imagination on a punishment.

ISS is In School Suspension, therefore, you are technically "in school" and you can practice. but you are supposed to be away from the other students... unless it is a Bridge City rule.... like i said, im not sure...

if you are ineligble due to grades, you can practice during and after school, BUT you cannot suit up or be on the field with your team during games... now, if you are ineligible due to say, ISS or something, you cannot be on school campus after the final bell rings... (unless this is just a campus rule, but i think UIL stated it also)

should a QB get hit in practise? yes but no... a QB should NOT be beaten on play after play if given the chance... BUT i think that the QB needs some contact!! it's called practise because thats exactly what you're going to do in the game on friday nights! you think the other team is going to run past the QB? heck no! their going to rough him up as bad as they can!! now, im not saying you should go 100% full force into the guy but give him a little bump here and there and at least wrap him up! when i practised the rule was NOT to touch the QB no matter the scenario but the QB can do whatever he wants to the defense and get away with it? wrap him up but dont drive him to the ground going 100%.... thats my opinion about it...

Coupled with injuries, 2 of which are season ending injuries, Silsbee has now lost 4 starters and a key reserve in the last few weeks to go along with these ineligible players. Hopefully the bad ends tomorrow night. you consider it bad luck when an athlete in ineligible due to grades?? sorry if people disagree with me but an athletes number one priority is and should be grades! I just wish alot of the parents of athletes felt the same way......it would amaze some at the response you get from some parents regarding their children not being allowed extra-curricular activities......and they will never respond to teacher request for conference due to poor performance in the classroom. :'( :'( most teachers are more than willing to help players keep their eligibility, but if they have no help from the parents or kid there isn't much they can do. most will tell you the kids no pass no play rule helps some kids that are borderline achieve more because the kids want to play so bad. this gives the kids more incentive to keep their grades up. once they lose out on their chance to play sports some kids give up on classwork all together. hopefully all the kids that are out bring up their grades by the 9 week report card date. may sound like a stupid question, but i was never ineligible from playing cause i refused to miss a game... BUT, is it only from report card to report card to determine if you're eligible or not? i heard that report cards make you ineligible but a progress report or a report card could make you eligible? i mean, you shouldn't be aiming for that but was just a question that i honestly dont know the answer to.
