Just got a txt from my sister at the game, evidently Vidor will be retiring #28 after tonight's game. Also Central has a banner up that reads "Heavens Hero #28 Matt"

Since the Vidor game isn't being broadcasted tonight what are the recommendations on the games that are being broadcasted? Thinking the PA Memorial - WB game?? Any suggestions?

Really? Do you not realize that Texas City won the state championship not very long ago without throwing a single pass throughout the entire playoffs? Might want to re-think that statement.....

Greatly appreciate it. I have tried a couple times to watch the HS games here in Missouri and its just not the same. The skill level, intensity, fans, nothing is the same. Honestly felt like i was watching a jr high game. No offense meant by that to any younger players or parents. But they just don't take football as serious here. Guess growing up in Midland/Odessa and then SETX spoils a person to a type of HS football!!

Been a long time since I have watched SETX Football. Given most folks are pretty biased towards their teams, anyone have any suggestions on what are going to be the better matchups this weekend that will be broadcasted? Leaning towards the Nederland - Central game. Prefer 20-4A. Thanks!!

It is prolly who you are thinking of, he had pretty good games last year vs LCM and Ozen. Needs a swift kick in the butt tho to keep him in line.

Ok, well thanks anyhow. I pretty much checked everywhere I could possibly think of. Doubt my nephew will play much if any at all, he managed to find himself some trouble and just got back with the team. But I figure the rest of the games for the season I should be able to catch through the opponents school broadcast.

Anyone know if this game will be broadcasted anywhere online? Checked this website, TSRN, and a couple others. Is there a local radio station that carries either schools games?

Believe I would have to say the Midland High/Converse Judson 5A state championship in '02
