  1. Thanks for the encouraging words Jackthehammer! I know that PN-G fans will be their for the long-haul and expect the NDN'S to rebound this week. It is always very difficult to pick in a rivalry game, with all of the emotion and extra enthusiasm that goes into that game. I do believe that PN-G's offense is way more consistent than Ned.'s, and I don't think Ned. can stop them. PN-G will make enough defensive stands to take this one! PN-G  42 NED.  14
  2. I think you have to favor LC-M in this game because of their offense so far. They seem to be farther along on offense than Ozen is. LC-M 28 OZEN 20
  3. Great job by Livingston. The running game was tremendous. All the backs ran with power and good speed. Many times PN-G had them trapped for apparent losses, only to have them get free for a big gain. Hats off to the Lions for a job well-done and a great team victory.PN-G offense looked super! Doty and the receivers were on the money. The O-line really gave Doty plenty of time to find his targets. Offense has played well all year--just need to work on the defense.
  4. PN-G is definitely blessed to have a number of great coaches. I hope we are able to keep them around for a few years, but success will bring attention to them. Great job by coach Cox and many others.
  5. This topic is just for grins and giggles --right ?? ;D ;D It has provided some well needed laughter--and laughter is the best medicine!! ;D ;D
  6. Lionfan: 1.) what is a football guro?             2.) are you going to disappear again when Livingston starts to loose?               ;D
  7. PN-G  by 21. Even though the Indians have lost 2 games--it was by a total of 3 points. They are still losses, but they have not been blown out, and the mistakes that have been made can be corrected. They have had 2 weeks to prepare and think about winning again, and I think they will be up to the challenge!
  8. DOGS1988--PN-G has actually won 3 state championships: 1975, 1955, 1953. Just to clarify for the point you were trying to make.
  9. My prayers go out to the Garrett family and all of their friends and family. My prayers also go out to Reggie's teammates, coaches, and student body.I know the prayers of all the triangle area are with you during this difficult time.
  10. Ned. and Vidor have had some really tough battles against each other. I'm sure it will be a good game.
  11. Hey Jackthehammer! How are you my friend? I think you hurt Lionfan's feelings! :) You think he might disappear again after PN-G beats up on them?
  12. I think its great that there is so much interest in this game. I'm glad that both LC-M and Lumberton have started the year off so strong. It helps all the teams in 20-4a when the district is tough and competitive. Good luck to both teams and I hope it is a real barn-burner of a game!
  13. Go get em bandkid. That's the one thing they can't get you on. Our crowd will always turn-out no matter where it is, when it is, or who it is.I don't know where that person is from, but if you are from the TC/Houston area I can promise you PN-G will put more people in the stands than you--every time!
  14. Anyone have any stat.'s from this game?
  15. Is that really the best you can do 1motime?
  16. Jack is right! PN-G got beat. They did not play well and made too many mistakes. You take the game out of the officials hands by playing your best and executing. I wasn't there so I can't comment on officiating for this game, but you can't let a team stay close to you. PN-G definitely needs some work in the special teams area--you have to be able to punt the ball further than 10 yards at the end of the game. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE THE INDIANS--but they definitely did not have a very good game. I do have confidence that Coach Faircloth and his staff will make the corrections necessary to get the team back on track.I still have faith that they can win district.
  17. Sounds like a great game--with some great defensive play from both teams
  18. I have friends at the Brownwood vs. Stephenville game. It was a hard ticket to get. It shapes up to be a hard fought contest based on how each team has been playing so far. I would give the edge slightly to Brownwood--should be fun to watch!!
  19. Looking forward to it.Thanks to channel 6 and sheffield productions for bringing this to all the triangle football fans.
  20. I think the "Kid" out-did the"oldtimer"! Thanks for the info on the fight song Bandkid.
  21. I'm with you BrenhamFan(PN-G and Brenham agreeing? ;)) You always play to win and never settle for defeat!
  22. Cherokee is the best!! Those guys from lumberton don't like it because they heard it so much after all our scores last year!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  23. I thought every game mattered--pre-district,district,play-offs--isn't that why the games are played?I guess any label can be applied and used as an excuse when you are getting beat-down each week! :o
