Wilson from Kelly is the best LB without question. Has at least two D1 offers ( Air Force & Cincy ) and a lot of other interest. Plays full throttle each down and hits like a freight train. West Brook could use him in the middle.

Wilson does not have offers from Air Force or Cincy. I talked to some of Kelly's players and so far the only player on Kelly's roster that has a college offer is #15 Nick Schrapps and that was from North Texas!
  2. This will be a statement game if Kelly can win. I am a Kelly Bulldog in heart but I am going to have to go with St. Pius on this one. It will be close but I just don't see Kelly breaking very many big plays. Kelly has to be able to throw and so far they haven't really thrown that much. Kelly will probably have Barber carry the ball about 30 to 35 times on Friday. I have Pius winning this one 28 to 21.
  3. well I heard it was by 7...so 3 makes it even better. USUALLY, St. Pius slaughters St. Thomas...but....St. Thomas only lost by a field goal. SO, either St. Thomas is really really good, or St. Pius is just not the powerhouse of our district this year. Basically, with St. Thomas losing by only 3 points, Kelly has a really good chance to beat St. Pius!
  4. Kelly starts district play 1-0 with a 4-2 overall record. St. Pius X also starts off 1-0 (2-3) after beating St. Thomas by 7 last Friday. Kelly looks to beat St. Pius for the first time in 3 years. Nick Barber has put up over 1,000 yards rushing in 6 games. St. Pius has about 4 guys going division 1. Last year, they lost 8 starters from the defense, at least 6 of them going division 1. PREDICTIONS???

Good Game Kelly has a lot of talent, lacking on the depth chart, started to show in the second half of game, matched up well with Liberty on talent, problem is all of their talent is playing both sides of ball. good running game good defense. Saw a few post that said Liberty is a passing team but the last two games that I watched was won with the running game. If you saw last weeks game and this weeks game Liberty was not very successful until they came out the second half running the ball to set up the pass.

uh, other teams know that liberty's strength is the pass so they've been trying to take it away.. game planning...

Liberty hardly had any receptions they ran the ball a whole lot. And they sure as heck did a good job too!
  6. Kelly will be without 3 starters tonight! Starting Junior Quarterback Will Darling, Starting Sophomore O-Line Ryan Bean, and starting Senior Defensive End James Simon. This game should be good. Kelly needs to hold on to the ball and not fumble it. Nick Barber has 6 or 7 fumbles on the season. Kelly offense needs to put together a strong drive...most of their touchdowns come on big plays. They cannot produce a strong drive with around 10 plays. Look for the Kelly defense to make a stop. Focusing on the run will be the main focus in my opinion. I have Kelly winning 21-14
  7. The Kelly Bulldogs won this one last night 3-2. The liberty Panthers scored on a 2 yard td run, except that kelly's defense held them 8 straight plays on the goal line, until they finally scored. Kelly's running back Colin Fornet scored on a 3 yard touchdown, Patrick Cook ran for a 35 yard touchdown, and Dakota Eddins completed a 50 yard touchdown pass to reciever Jacob Underwood.
