Lumberton has to play 4 quarters!!! They need to get their rythym going quicker than other games they played this year. They always look like a different team after halftime, by then its almost to late.

Just saw all the results earlier(well I only looked at Varsity boys). Nederland won the meet with 182 points, I think 2nd was L-CM, but I can't confirm that because of my short-term memory. Gold medals were awarded to Aaron McCrary, Trevor Martin, Kevin Molina, the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. The winning 4x400 was a 3:36.60 I think and 2nd was less than a second behind. Also, I just remembered Nederland JV got 2nd.

Bulldogs make it back-to-back titles, win at Lumberton
HIGH SCHOOL TRACK
Tom Halliburton The Port Arthur News
LUMBERTON — LUMBERTON -- Nederland boys first-year track and field coach Chris Theriot is making a serious bid for rookie of the year.
The Bulldogs made it 2 for 2 under Theriot's supervision this week by rolling to another team title at the 21st annual Lumberton Raider relays.
This Thursday evening display was absolutely dominant in Nederland's favor. The NHS boys compiled 182 points -- 70 more than runner-up Little Cypress-Mauriceville.
Awfully chilly weather in the high 40s could not prevent the Bulldogs from winning two relays and producing four double winners in a competitive varsity field.
Nederland won the 1,600- and 800-meter relay races. The four double winners were Trevor Martin, Grant Lovelady, Aaron McCrary and Kevin Molina.
Martin won the 1,600 and 3,200 meters with teammate Domingo Flores right behind him each time. McCrary swept the sprints, winning the 100- and 200-meter dash. Molina won the 800 meters while running a leg on the 1,600-meter relay. Lovelady competed in both of Nederland's winning relay events.
Shot putter Reagan Richard was the Lady Bulldogs' lone winner in a varsity girls division won by Vidor.
The Lady Pirates claimed the gold medals in six events, including the 1,600-meter relay, and compiled 170 points.
Port Neches-Groves placed a solid third in both divisions with 118 points on the girls side and 106 on the boys side.
Hillary Coy of PN-G was the school's lone double winner, taking the unusual combination of the pole vault and the 100-meter hurdles.
Defending state qualifier Dylan Richards made it 2 for 2, winning the high jump again. Cody Ross also made it 2 for 2 in the triple jump. Tyler Wright did the same in the 300-meter hurdles while Jordan Begnaud claimed his first win of 2010 in the pole vault.

ha ha ha ;D
Pretty sure he is not a fan! :Wow Central is sounding great! What a comeback! Hope Mathews took some good notes!!!! ;D
He probably was too busy being a fan and watching GOOD football!

Well, we'll see in two weeks. Maybe those big ole' boyz will just have to go both ways to stay with those JagsWell I am a Jaguar alumni so let me try this out!!!
Offense - B+
The offense is much improved this year and has plenty of different looks and sets to attack opponents with. However, their is still a lack of execution in the passing game that hurts and some wrinkles that have not been ironed out!!! The line is great at run blocking but still needs help in the passing game. The two RB's are truly A+ which helps the score alot. The receivers are big and fast but need to hold on to the ball. The talent is their at QB if we give him time, but he needs to let go of the ball just a tad bit earlier!!!
Defense - A
This team is the hardest hitting Jag team in years!!! These boys believe in bringing that hat!!! There are sure tacklers here too, that wrap up and carry through on the tackle. The front seven is really strong though they don't blitz ever down like past teams. This is more of a contain defense. Last year was big risk / big reward. Though 80 % of the time the pinned back ears blitz defense did its job, it left Central open to big plays which hurt them at times. This D is a containment D with situational blitz thatreally addresses the big play. However the dbs tend to fall asleep looking at the QB and not WR. This is correctable, though...
Special teams - C
There is big play potential with the speedsters on special teams. The punter is good with distance and height on his kicks... Truly a surprise. The Field goal kicker is at best average but the ball doesn't always get to him or the punter. We really need to sure up the deep snapper. His snaps could lose games for the Jags!!!
Nicely Wrote..From what i hear My Nephew told me that they've been through every snapper this week..so this should get better,,Other than that your Accurate on all points..And the Secondary Should get better these are all 1st time starters so just a few early season Jitters..
And your right..This years Defense Brings the Hat HARD
..Cant wait for the Vidor, Central Game
Thats good to here...I hope Central puts it on them!!
Six says one; half a dozen says another. ;D
whats that suppose to mean?
Seems that no one taught you analogies. It means that some people will agree with you and some won't. I don't know about y'all but I was at the Vidor HJ game last night and i seen some of Vidor's O-line playing D-line as well all throughout the game 4 quarters. So this goes to show that only can they play 4 quarters on offense but they do it on d as well.
.I think the opponents Central play prepare them better for District play, JMO
