  1. How is it poor planning by the UIL? TEA is the one that changed their dates! i think that the regional dates have been pretty close to the same for many years.
  2. You will not have your job very long if you exhibit this behavior. You also mention the coach in Kentucky. You will find that most if not all of the coaches in southeast Texas are very aware of the heat and humidity. My dad played football in the 60's, and they did not have water breaks, they had ice breaks. I will tell you this, they hauled hay and had other farm(outside) jobs. They were in extremely good shape. They did not stay in the house and play x-box. Remember, Corey Stringer from the Vikings? He died from the heat in Minnesota, I think it was 90 degrees. Was it the fact it was hot or that he was like 6'" and 340? Also just saw an report from feb of last year, that Stringers wife is sueing the NFL and Riddell because the helmets did not have enough ventalation. Could it have something to do with the dreads on his head. A friend of mine in college came in with long hair(OL type) and had an episode. Next day of practice he had a flat top.Just my thoughts
  3. I will preface this with I do not have a dog in the fight. Intersted onlooker. I was looking over the list and I saw one that people seem to be overlooking. Huey Chancellor at Bellville. He has a solid record of 115-49 (.701)there. I know he has the permian ties since he played there and he has worked with some good coaches. I played for him in HS and know that may seem biased to some individuals. But he is a good coach and runs a good program.
  4. I know at the Devers Tourney that they had a combined team there. Do they have one or two teams( 7th and 8th) or are they still combined?
  5. Remember, Micheal Jordan lifted during the season. In season lifting is important.
  6. Maybe they know who they want and wrote the requirements to fit him.Who knows???????Stay tuned for some surprises. Thats what it sounds like to me. You mean they would actually do such a thing? I can't believe they would write the job description to fit some pre-selected person! Just Kidding, I believe they would and they shall do such a thing! ;D BTW - Does Pete Carroll have a Master's Degree? master's degree in physical education from Pacific in 1976

  8. When was A&M in the final four? I missed that one. Come on, he beat out Micheal Beasley.
  9. I apologize for the ignoance of this individual. I just got off the phone with my wife and she felt it needed to be addressed.I hope that this individual foes not reflect on the Anahuac community as a whole.
  10. Kid just moved in ignore him. Our kids are not like that.
  11. Agreed he would leave the field with the help of others! I would think they could quickly design a hockey style kind of play to even the score. Question, was the receiving team guy off sides--he got there pretty quick.I bet his parents were proud. Yes he was if you pause it then grab the slide bar you can see that the kick return guy was on about the 48 1/2 yard line when the kicker kicks it... not only did he cheap shot him but he was also offsides.... And yes a bounty would of been issued shortly afterward... I am not a vindictive person but when you intentionally go after another young man to intentionally hurt him.. you should be dealt with accordingly... an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth... This was no different than ear holing someone down field that is behind the play by 30 yards.... I see what you are saying, but on an interception, the QB is fair game and you can go after him. This is why sometimes the QB will stay on the ground. Blocking him is one thing intentionally trying to hurt someone is different. We would have a bunch of Jim McMahon and Charles Martin Body slams If our scrupples were like this coach. If they were in a State Title game it would be more plausible still wrong but I would see it as everyone wants to win however they can. Thank you for using Plausible. That is awesome! Why is that awesome?? Normally that word is not used in a football context. Should I have said something a little more back woods so some of the readers could understand better? lol ;D ;D ;D I appreciate the vocabulary.
